It's a great program. I find it extremely useful for organizing my thoughts and cataloging them into an outline. Their template section is also very detailed and helpful especially if you're starting a project without a clear idea in mind as I often am.

I love how versatile this tool is, how easy to shift plot lines or character lines or insert a new chapter or anything you need to do to plan an effective and compelling story. It's so adaptable to however you want to use it. Also, the developers are always looking for ways to improve the user experience, such as allowing it to integrate with other programs so you can perfect your outline, export it to a writing application, and get going right away with a new great story!

I have used Plottr to plan my very first novel which I have created as part of NaNoWriMo 2023 and that I am going on to finish in December 2023. Having worked in most of my career in the software engineering space, where the design of system is very important, I am very much a plotter. So, I really love the clear, yet powerful, visual interface that Plottr gives me to see my plot and scenes, the character arcs and details of the characters and places - all in one place. Once I had created my initial plot, I exported it to Scrivener and then wrote in that tool, using Plottr still as a reference in a different window.

Simple is better. Sometimes, when plotting, it's easy to get lost in the weeds. Plottr helps eliminate this issue by being simple to use with powerful features that make it easy to work with and helps keep the storylines straight.

I have been a Plottr user since May 2021 and I love it. It makes plotting my book series easy, through the writing process, keeping track of anything I want: From characters, locations, or any other things I want to track in the bible. But where it really shines in helping me with the revision process and establishing timelines for my book series, so I can track big events in each book. Love it!!
