PlottrReviews of plottr.com

After a lot of searching, I choose plottr, easy to use, affordable price, and a more than great tool to help you plotting your story, it works for any kind of stories, it helped me a lot to structure my screenplay, although it is Mainly for novelists, the story plot is all the same after all, I think its great, I love it and the technical support is good, and you can even play with it to learn more about story writing, and it gives you a 14 day trial which is a good thing to try it, I recommend it if you are a beginner or a professional

Plottr is a great product with great support as well. the devs listen and make changes that the community want and are very responsive when you are having issues. there is also an active Facebook group.

Straightforward and intuitive, Plottr has really helped me organize the elements in my story and keep track of all my characters. It's great for creating a story bible, especially while writing a series.

Great program and active development and enhancements.

I am not a planner. I am a truly spontaneous/pantser writer, who doesn't even write scenes in the order they will appear in the final version of the book. So I don't use Plottr they way other writers do; I don't use it to plan the story structure beforehand. I DO use it in later stages of the process. I used to write scene headings on slips of paper and pin them to a cork board, allowing me to rearrange them, and keep track of plot points. Plottr makes it so much easier! Not only is it easier to move the scenes around, but with a pop-up window containing a brief synopsis of each scene it's super easy to make sure I've covered everything. Also, I love being able to colour code, and to make notes, keep track of characters, and use multiple plotlines. My current project was making me tear my hair out, and Plottr is allowing me to let it grow back.

I've been a user of Plottr for over a year. I really enjoy using it to plan my writing projects. It works well for screenplays, short stories, and novels. I particularly like using it for my 'work to do' planner -where I can create a chart showing the months that I want to do the work in. I think Plottr is great because of the available plot templates!

Easy to use, but powerful.

Aspiring writers are suckers until they learn the field of tools and resources. WE will buy most anything that seems frequently recommended, appropriately priced, and fits our personal workflow. Gratefully, I found Plottr early enough in my experience! It served as a wonderful resource, vibrant community, and excellent baseline from which to gauge the professionalism of every other resource scrambling for my attention and my dollars!
