Pleiades Consultancy is an AI search optimization firm that helps local service businesses show up when customers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google AI Overviews for a recommendation. Founded by Matthew Johnson and based in New York City, the company works directly with owners in dental, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, restoration, med spa, pest control, chiropractic, and landscaping to make sure AI platforms can find them, understand what they do, and recommend them to customers in their area. The problem Pleiades solves is straightforward. SOCi's 2026 Local Visibility Index analyzed 350,000 business locations and found that only 1.2% get recommended by ChatGPT. Pleiades audited over 60 local service businesses across five industries and found that more than 90% had zero AI visibility. Even national chains with more than 1,000 locations were invisible in AI recommendations.Client results include a dental practice that went from average search position 17.6 to 4.8 in 30 days with no ads and no website rebuild, and a pest control company that reached 100% map visibility after a single service-area correction. A law office is currently ranked number one in ChatGPT for immigration attorneys in its city.Pleiades caps client count at three to five per service type per city so every client gets exclusive coverage in their market.
