Outstanding!
I write this as I await my actual item which should be delivered tomorrow. The fact that I put this out beforehand speaks of my experience and confidence in them. Platinumonly.com is the sister company to Graciousrose.com, which seems to focus on gold and silver and both list Michael Faji as a co-owner. My experience with Platinumonly started on December 1st after an exhaustive search for a substantial platinum chain. Particularly I REALLY liked the style of their lobster clasp, which I had not seen at other retailers. I called and spoke to Michael who answered many questions. I attempted, unsuccessfully, to negotiate price but found that they were open to receiving a wire transfer and waiving credit card processing fees. Additionally, Platinumonly helped coordinate an exchange of an old platinum item which I sent to Orogent LLC and I promptly received a Zelle payment. From what i have learned Platinumonly custom jewelry is cast by Orogent LLC which is owned (?) by Albert Sirazi and according to his LinkedIn page owns braccio.com and bigapplejewelry.com. During the custom crafting process my initial item was made and it was about 23% lighter than the stated weight. Michael knew this would be an issue for me and called me offering 2 options, a straight line discount (total price divided by the forecasted weight then multiplied by actual weight), or they would send me the lighter item while they remade the chain closer to the original forecasted weight. I told him no need to send the lighter item and to just recast closer to the forecasted weight. A new mold was custom made for me to a slightly deeper profile allowing for more platinum and the final item weighed about 5% more than the forecasted weight, at no additional charge. The timing of my purchase could have also been an issue as the price of platinum went up 35% from the day I ordered my chain to the day it was mailed and there was NO push back over the price. Along the way the communication and response times were great From what I see the prices stated on Platinumonly is somewhat stagnant and not reactive to the market price of platinum. Based on the finished items weight and the value of spot platinum I paid a 19.6% premium for the finished product over its weight, which I consider a bargain for a finished piece of jewelry. Additionally, the items cast by Orogent for Platinumonly were less expensive than similar items at Orogent's sister companies.
