Planet42 does should improve customer service
I took a rent to buy car with Planet42 in November 2022. Their car kept having problems which I fixed only for another to appear. I later found out that it had been involved in an accident, which they never disclosed to me when I took the car. It is a POLO VIVO 1.4. Paying R9176 per month. The cars problems kept increasing and their insurance refused to help. Therefore I ended up unable to afford to fix it while paying R9176 per month. I decided to take it back. Which I did. I paid the settlement amount of R9176 and was left with R9875 of arrears which they then debited R3289. Then I was left with R6586. They then debited R9176 instead, which means that they debited R2590 extra from my account without my authorisation and our initial agreement was that we will split that remaining balance of R6586 into 2 instalments but then they decided to debit R9176 from my account without my consent. I called them to send my money back. They promised to send it back and they requested that I send my bank confirmation letter, which I did and they promised to pay last week between Thursday and Saturday. They never did. It’s now 7 days later still nothing. I called to no avail, I sent emails to no response. I wrote a review on Hello Peter 2/3 times they never responded. I’m very sure if it wasn’t about paying me back they would’ve been available to attend to me. I have realised that they just want to milk me dry. I have been paying them R9176 for 3 years for a bad car that I was barely able to use
