4.5 Overall it was a good experience. Set you own pace, good advice and good example scenarios. The more difficult modules for me were the medidcations and math. Which he said it would be for most so it took more time. For the medication names I'm looking for some matching games instead of flash cards, might have to make my own at home. I did enjoy the one crossword puzzle in the beginning of the course it was good practice. With the math word problems, I feel like seeing example objects could have helped with understanding it a little better. Only because, I'm someone taking the course with no experience in the work environment. Thank you for giving me the needed knowledge.

The course is really great and one of the best out there.

This has been a great way to prepare for my certification. I'm able to go at my own pace, studying around my work schedule, and take my time without feeling rushed. The site is well-structured, with each module focusing on core aspects of what I need to know. A few of the sections provide too much information at once; but the majority of them are just the right length to not leave me feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend Pharmacy Tech Scholar!

I have enjoyed absorbing all the information presented in this course! Everything is tailored to getting you ready to take the PTCE. If I would have taken a few Community College classes covering the same information, it would have cost me about 4 times more than the flat rate fee offered! Great price for the information presented! It was great learning theory behind the procedures of the pharmacy, and applying what I learned even as a current Clerk in the pharmacy. Overall, great program!!

This is an excellent course for those that wish a fast paced and bare bones PTCE prep. Perfect for those with any other tech level or higher medical background or those that need a refresher before cert exam. If you have very little medical background it might be a little to bare bones however, perhaps a more comprehensive course that provides more A&P and basic bio-sciences information might be useful. If you do chose this PTCE prep course you can expect helpful and friendly help throughout the program.

The video lectures were very well-organized and easy to follow. The information was for the most part intuitive and Dr. Emmel does a great job with pacing and explaining everything clearly, including specific concepts and processes while also indicating what is and what is not expected on the PTCE. Overall, it is clear that these concepts and skills presented are useful in the workplace to being a knowledgeable Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Covers an excellent amount of material and delivers it quick enough to keep momentum but not so fast that it feels overwhelming. A couple different areas seem to have fallen behind a bit, though not by too much, which makes sense considering the state of the medical world these last 6 or so years. Overall a great course, just needs some minor updates.
