PharmacyChecker helps people find the lowest prices on prescription medication among licensed U.S. and international pharmacies. We are the only independent company monitoring and verifying the credentials of international online pharmacies and comparing prices of the prescription drugs available from these licensed pharmacies.Launched in 2003 by founder Tod Cooperman, M.D., PharmacyChecker fills a critical need for a growing number of Americans turning to the Internet to find affordable prescription medications, including from pharmacies outside the U.S., without the necessary guidance to protect their health.PharmacyChecker verifications and price comparisons have been referenced by AARP Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, and many others. We are a stakeholder in the online, consumer-driven health care community, seeking a safe internet environment that promotes innovation and new business models that serve public health.

We are not a pharmacy. PharmacyChecker verifies online pharmacies for consumers’ safety while shopping for medication online, ensuring they avoid counterfeit medications. Here is a list of legitimate online pharmacies to which you may want to send your prescription if they carry your medication: https://www.pharmacychecker.com/accredited-online-pharmacies/

Don't trust your med quality from this company's "approval"
Of their supposed "service" (noting pharmacies that supply offshore meds often state: 'Approved by PharmacyChecker') and concerned about ordering such meds, I first curiously asked PharmacyChecker: "Are offshore meds randomly or otherwise quality and chem-analyzed by you to insure they are in fact as stated?"
The reply was: "PharmacyChecker verifies that the products dispensed by PharmacyChecker accredited dispensing pharmacies meet the criteria listed below:
Pharmacy must only market, sell, process and/or dispense medications that have been approved for sale in at least one of the following countries/regions: Australia, Canada, European Union, India (subject to additional requirements/restrictions, as per PharmacyChecker Policy 16-05 Marketing / Dispensing Indian Pharmaceutical Products Internationally), Israel, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, or the United States.
By meeting this criteria, pharmacies demonstrate that the product dispensed meets the regulatory standards of countries that have similar or even more stringent manufacturing regulations as products marketed in the USA. PharmacyChecker does not chemically analyze any medications independently."
I replied back: "Hello, So apparently the answer is a clear: no.
And… this is beyond baffling: only 1 out of 11 country products is all that is required to have been “approved for sale” in their respective region to be ''approved by you''?. That is meaningless with regard to actual content-ingredient/compound makeup and validity (since each supplier has sole dominion over his own packaged goods), and, by the words below, you - do not actually do any certification as to quality or chem-analyzation. With such miniscule requirements and without root-level investigatory application/inspection/analyzations, I fail to see the inherent value of PharmacyChecker as regards medication securities.
I will of course certainly and openly entertain additional or enhanced explanation from you if I am in any way in error in reading what you sent me. I invite that as I am most curious. Thanks"

PharmacyChecker has had ample time to reply but I have heard nothing back, and surely will not. As one who takes a number of costly meds I feel the "approval" they give pharma's who sell offshore products (and feign "approval") is entirely MISLEADING to we honest customers who DEPEND on the quality and purity of the med's being sold to us as being true and accurate. Any "approval" by PharmacyChecker absolutely gives a false sense of confidence to a potential client... a client that MIGHT get hurt in the long run from buying a less-than-quality/tested medication. I don't know, such "approval" smells almost criminal to me.
My hope is no one in the future gets fooled or "taken in" from seeing a "Approved by PharmacyChecker" statement at any given pharmacy site when purchasing offshore (outside of USA) Rx products.
Remember folks: What you don't know, CAN hurt you.

Hi D Massey, We're sorry you didn't get the response you were looking for. We do not, nor do we claim, to chemically analyze products. We ensure that websites that market prescription medications are licensed in the jurisdictions in which they practice. We inspect foreign pharmacies for high standards of pharmacy practice, audit websites for marketing claims, etc. With the slew of bad actors online, we're proud to offer such a service. We're transparent about the service we offer -- our standards are publically available here: https://www.pharmacychecker.com/verification-program/.
Independent research shows that consumers receive genuine, safe medication when they buy from accredited online pharmacies - https://www.nber.org/papers/w17955. For over a decade, Roger Bate, PhD, an economist affiliated with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and his colleagues have tested and compared just over 1,000 prescription drug orders from credentialed pharmacy websites and those sites without credentials. Dr. Bate’s research considered a website “credentialed” if they were verified through one of the following authorities: the PharmacyChecker Verification Program, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), LegitScript, and the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA).
No credentialed online pharmacy was found to sell counterfeit drugs. Of the 368 orders placed with online pharmacies with no accreditation, 6.8% of the medicines were deemed counterfeit or substandard.
Let me know should you have further questions.

Total lack of commutations
Total lack of commutations. No response on Nov.3. No response to my 3 calls made before 11:30 on Nov. 4. Finally a response at 11:58 by Donna Miller saying that the order was placed to a accredited pharmacy and that I could go to their website to get status. No tracking information provided. She gave me the info@ email address and a phone number 718-554+3067 that never answered. I know the order shipped because the note on the order Payment Method says that "payment will not be pressed until the order is ready to ship." Payment was made from my account Nov. 1 via E check. Hoping to contact to you early Monday Nov. 7. as my medication supply will run out Nov. 8. And according to my Doctor I must never miss a day with my Eliquis.

Hi Gerald, This is Lucia Mueller, with PharmacyChecker.com. You and I spoke on the phone this morning. I'm sorry it appears that you've had issues communicating with a pharmacy in the PharmacyChecker Verification Program. I'm sorry it wasn't a smooth process. I’ve documented pertinent details and have reached out to the pharmacy in question. Per our call, it's critical you find a local solution for Eliquis in the mean time, whether that's through insurance, patient assistance, authorized samples through your doctor, etc. Hopefully, we get you sorted with your order soon. I'll be in touch via email and phone.

All drug information was incorrect!
Every piece of information about the generic drug I need was inaccurate--the formulation type, concentration, storage conditions, available pharmacies, and the location information of pharmacies. I've been using this for five years and know a lot about it. The brand name was also incorrect. I do not recommend this service.

Hi Sara, I'm sorry to hear this and would like to take the opportunity to improve. Could you please let us know the name of the medication so we can re-evaluate the drug information listed on that page? Thank you.

NO GOOD ANY MORE... DID DRUG INDUSTRY FINALY KILLED IT?
It used to be a good site I have been using for over 10 years. Looks like drug industry, that has been trying to kill or discredit it, is succeeding. It's a shame.
For the last year or so list of pharmacies started to become shorter and shorter when you search for a particular drug and prices are higher than I can find in pharmacies I have been using before.
Just searched for a drug brand name and the cheapest on Pharmacy checker is $6.64 per tablet (at Offshore Cheap Meds) out of only 2 pharmacies in the list. And the cheapest I found from my personal pharmacy list is $1.43!
I usually do have time for writing reviews, but wanted to share this one with others. Drug prices in US is border line genocide.
Response from PharmacyChecker.comMar 21, 2022
Hi Alex -- The drug industry hasn't killed us, but we agree they are trying. Thanks for raising the issue. Please let me know which medication you are looking for-- usually generics are cheaper in the U.S., but it truly varies. You can email us: [email protected]. We're always happy to equip people with information for their specific drug therapy. Drug price comparisons are still helping many other people find much lower prices.
