I did not receive any support to help start the diet off right Avfriend of mine who joined the same day as I did, did receive the support even though our registration was exactly the same. When I called about it, all they said is that I would have to pay for the support eventhough my friend did not pay for the support (which was confirmed when I called).

I utilized your introductory offer. It was too much food and it all went bad because my freezer wouldn't shut and I had to throw it all out. I know smaller shipments can be purchased but this wasn't made available to first timers, or at least it wasn't part of the promotion. So $300 i'll never get back nor did I get to enjoy the food that came with it. I'm sure it was lovely!

UPDATE: Five+ years ago, I tried Personal Trainer Food to jumpstart my eating habits into Paleo. I purchased a Groupon for a monetary discount and ordered a bunch of the meat and veggies. The quality was pretty good from what I remember. Fast forward to 2018. I bought another Groupon for the REV 28 plan which is breakfast (omelettes, eggs/sausage, eggs/bacon), lunch (a meat and veggies) and dinner (two veggies) along with a free bottle of their garlic sauce. It's important to state that I did not have a lot of weight to lose, but rather, I was looking to get back into Paleo after a brief time out and I knew this had worked for me five years ago. I did their fast for 48 hours, only consuming chicken broth and drinking water (dinner to dinner two days later), and broke the fast with two of their veggies for dinner. I wanted to be able to sustain the loss and continue to the Paleo lifestyle, so I made sure to not only eat what was in the box. I added 2 hardboiled eggs, 6 oz of cheese and 3 oz of pistachios/almonds along with an apple every single day. In 28 days, I lost 6lbs, 4 inches in my natural waist and 2 inches in my hips. I ordered an additional 14 days of REV as I was moving and figured it would be easier to just pop food in the microwave at home and at work, and added the dailies above. Once those additional two weeks were over, I went down to 2oz of cheese and 1oz of pistachios/almonds a day, eat 2 eggs with 2 applegate sausage links for breakfast and make Paleo choices (meat, veggies, etc) for lunch and dinner. I have lost a total of 16lbs and have gone from a size 8 to a size 4. I feel fantastic. I have a huge issue with a few things: 1- The way PTF is pitched. They do not practice what they preach. I have in writing from them and their reps various statements contradicting their principles. They are basically looking for very overweight individuals to sign up for their program so that they will see a very large loss. This keeps their business going. Anyone restricting to 800 calories a day is going to lose, but once you're off PTF, you're not going to be able to sustain this loss and you shouldn't. That's not good for your heart and other organs, but they only care about the $$$$, not the people. 2- Their food is not healthy. It is processed and high in sodium. They tell you to stay away from processed food (literally when I asked if I could use my 3 oz of almonds in a day and make almond butter to eat with the apple--- out of just the almonds, nothing else--- they wrote back that I should stay away from processed foods and not do this... huh?) 3- They have a support group on FB but they want it to be rainbows and unicorns. Anyone who is in any sort of support group knows that people need to be able to share challenges and ask questions in order to be successful. But, too bad, they will delete your posts because they only want to talk about the positive things. 4- They want you to stay away from sugar but they are proponents of fake sweeteners and diet sodas. Any legit personal trainer or nutritionist would tell you to steer clear of those things because they are not good for you. Again, they don't practice what they preach. 5- You can do PTF all on your own without buying their ridiculously overpriced items. I helped a few friends do this. Literally just buy frozen steamfresh bags of veggies. Split the bags for lunches, eat a full bag for dinner (use some parm cheese to flavor it up with lemon and butter). For breakfast, just cook 2 eggs and a breakfast meat, or get prepackaged ones. For lunch, you could even do Purdue patties or chicken nuggets and they would be less processed than the junk PTF sells! Meat & veggies for lunch. Don't buy into their hype. And if you are going to, don't do it for less than a 50% off discount because it's not quality! Original Review: You will 100% lose inches (and inevitably pounds) with Personal Trainer Food. However, they really do not practice what they preach. You can look up nutritional value on their website and see that most of their food isn't high quality, in fact, most of it is processed. They also list diet sodas and other fake sugars in their do list which to me is very strange. I signed up for Rev (breakfast- breakfast meat and/or eggs, lunch- meat and veggies, dinner- veggies) for 28 days. I supplemented the plan with 2 hard boiled eggs, 3oz of pistachios/almonds and 6oz of mozz/parm cheese daily, along with their garlic butter sauce. In 21 days, I lost 3.5 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips. I keep getting emails to leave a review, so I cannot tell you how much I've lost in weight and inches in total as day 28 is still 2 days away. If you're considering this plan, know that you can do it from the grocery store and if you stick to non processed food, you'll probably have better results anyway. Apparently PTF flagged my review, so I will add an update, though it's funny that they sent me the link to review prior to my 28 days being up. So I will post exactly what I posted on their support group page. I still stick by the statements above, though I do try to be motivational in the group. Day 28 here (and 14 more days coming today)... I'm excited to share that I lost a total of 7 inches so far--- 4 inches from my waist, 2 inches in from my hips and 1 inch from my bust. Losing the inches where I had become uncomfortable wearing tight clothes and getting my body back is what was important to me. I am 5'9" and dropped from a 6/8 / medium (depending on the garment) to a properly fitting size 4 / small. Yay rah! :) For those of you who were looking for my weight loss number, I can tell you it wasn't much and I am absolutely fine with that. I have said it a million times and I will say it a million times more, the number on the scale is completely irrelevant to me and I have learned to live my life without a scale after being an athlete and being forced to weigh myself multiple times everyday back in the day. My body has shifted and that's what I wanted it to do. I wanted to start appearing cut again, and I am. So according to the scale this morning (also note the weather is really weird and humid here today, so I might have actually lost more--- I haven't weighed myself since day 1, who knows, who cares) and was down 5 lbs in these 28 days. I made a conscious decision to not just eat the food in the REV box, but to supplement it with 2 hardboiled eggs a day, 6oz of cheese, 3oz of pistachios/almonds and an apple. I did this because I wanted to be able to sustain the inches/weight I lost when I was off of PTF and eating on my own and I don't believe restricting is healthy. I believe a lifestyle change that makes sense is the only sustainable way to live your life. Prior to this week, I was only doing kettle bell swings a few days a week. Starting this week I am doing weights (three days a week) for upper body and riding my bike 12 miles two-four days a week. Having said that, I will continue to take measurements every 7 days (along with photos that I may or may not eventually share). And, I will weigh myself in another 14 days just for good measure, at which time I will go back to my old 1/2 a decade lifestyle of Paleo (after a 6 month hiatus). There's no cheese in Paleo (though after a few months, I'll do full fat Greek yogurt some mornings with berries. I'll also be adding my daily banana back in and a sweet potato or two each week.

Had a problem with my order on day 1. Called customer service and they couldn't seem to care less. Theyre "fix" did not help me at all. They replaced my missing sauce but for the meals that came opened they refunded me $4!? They wouldn't replace so I'm not getting the full diet bc I'm not going to purchase a full 28 days to replace a couple of meals. And when explaining why she mentioned the amount was bc I used a living social Groupon voucher. So they gave me the super discounted prorated refund on a voucher that is a one time use only and ill be paying 60% more to reorder food that they sent opened. Seems fishy and wrong. I told rep this and as with the rest of the convo she didn't care. I didn't even include the ones that the label and heating time was cut off on the bag. The food is awesome but there are several other avenues to get it without the bad customer service. I paid a little more bc they were supposed to be very involved and etc etc but that wasn't true in my case from day 1.
