PermasealusaReviews of permasealusa.com

This company scams people with false claims then is beyond rude and unhelpful if a customer starts asking questions, unwilling to make anything right and utilizing manipulative, gaslighting, word-salad language to their customers... which they will deny as they take no ownership in their work because they only care about the sale and the money. I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing this product because clearly many people have had the same issues as myself and it's a costly scam with their shiny presentation and salesmen that dazzle with false promises and outright lies This service was a few years ago but I have to look at what this product did to my newly built deck daily and have had many consultations from experienced fence and deck builders who have confirmed my concerns and expressed equal disdain for what they have seen out in the field with other people's projects they have had to demolish and rebuild because this product is awful....I was told I could use krud kutter or dawn to maintain the deck after using their product that it wouldn't need to be stained again, which was a big selling point as I was seeking long term lowering maintentance which I expressed during the consultation (they LIEd). I tried to stain the deck but because of the product they used it won't even stain properly and causes uneveness and discoloration...same issue with paint....it's rendered my new deck an eye sore and useless all "supposedly" sealing it, yet the formula they used has caused nothing but issues with my boards. Thankfully I used the same boards on another deck built the same time and I did NOT use permaseal on it and that looks a million times nicer and is holding up so much better than this product for 1/3 of the cost.

Permaseal USA, located in St. Louis County Missouri, is not or has not, honored a 25 year warranty that was included in the selling of their deck sealing treatment. I have been ignored presently when calling this company about the rot and deterioration of my wood deck; which was treated in 2019. Approximately a year ago, I called the company and one of their employees came out to look at the damage and was assured that it would be taken care of; since the damage had occurred after their treatment. My deck was completely fine with no rot or deterioration prior to their treatment. The construction repair employee, named Kevin, said that he would come back with the wood needed or required to repair my deck. As recent as a couple of months ago I even spoke with Ben Jensen, the owner of the company; whom also reassured me that he would honor the 25 year warranty for this problem. Now, within about the last few weeks, all that I have received from the company is a couple of e-mails from Neal, a manager, stating that the warranty does not cover any replacement of wood that has rotted or deteriorated. I have a warranty that states any wood that rots or deteriorates after the treatment would be covered under the warranty. What good is the warranty if they won't replace wood that has rotted after their treatment? My deck was in perfect condition before they treated it; as they surely wouldn't warranty the treatment if any previous rot or deterioration was present! I have also filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau. Apparently, this company is trying to avoid honoring the 25 year warranty and not standing behind their treatment service! I have attached photos related to my complaint....I can't speak for all the numerous complaints filed against this company; but I am one of many having problems with them taking responsibility for what has happened after their treatment.
