Misleading features. They want you to “upgrade” , more fees, etc. Not what I signed up to do.
Response from PerfectDomainMay 1, 2025
The review is completely unrelated to our company and is about another experience with another company. We do not offer "upgrades" or charge any fees for listing domain names.

They aren't opened during the times they say they're open.

This is a false review. We are a website that is open 24/7. We have 99.9999% uptime and our website / account center is always available.

Total SCAM. Within minutes of my credit card being processed this company relentlessly ran my card over and over with fraudulent charges. Four days later and they tried running my card 16 times just yesterday. Do not buy from this company until they better secure the way they do business.

This is a false review. We do not process credit card charges. Nor would any of our credit card processing partners charge a card "16 times" in one day. We have requested that this review be taken down as it is likely related to another company / experience altogether.

I added domain redirection, added a text field, but it says on your site that it cannot be confirmed. I wanted to write to the support, I got a message. "We could not verify you are human. Contact us for help."

The sale process was pushy. All the hard sale tactics you can think of, applied. To be honest, that wasn't the worst part, though. COMFORTABLY the worse part was dealing with customer support afterwards. The most unhelpful responses I've potentially ever gotten. Response to Perfect Domain reply: I understand your position. No reminders were given before the 2-day notice/threat to revoke the sale.

We are sorry that you did not experience our usual customer service, as our other 5 star reviews suggest. However we were chasing a due payment that was late and despite several reminders, was not resolved. As a gesture of goodwill, we had already changed the DNS settings, so you could use the domain name straight away, so it was a challenge for us to then not get paid. As soon as you made payment the issue was resolved and we moved on. We will endeavour to work hard and any positive changes will be implemented straight away.

Domain squatters are terrible, no matter how it's conducted. By facilitating the "trading" of DNS records in this fashion, the company is supporting a practice that stifles innovation and inhibits creativity. In 2020, there were over 260 million unique registered domain names across the internet. Of those, a staggering 70.06% were parked with companies such as this one. Read that again: more than 2 out of 3 domains are gobbled up by domain squatters, and held for ransom. At present, I have been searching for domain names for a project. Every single obvious name has been squatted, and is now "for sale" at places like this one, at prices as high as $50,000. This is not the intent of the DNS system, and it never was. It produces absolutely no value to society as a whole. I cannot condone any company engaging in such activities. It's a blight on the internet. Note: This is general to all such companies; not only PerfectDomain.

We are deeply concerned that you have had such a bad experience in purchasing a domain name. We can confirm that we do not have your details on file, nor any records of you inquiring in the past, so we are disappointed that you left such a bad review. it is not a true reflection on PerfectDomain, as the other 5 star reviews would suggest. Most domain names listed on the marketplace start from $999 and all domain names are priced carefully and are based, among other things, on comparable sales and market forces.

I have been buying premium domains for over 10 years. I placed a fair offer on a domain name, rather than negotiating my bid, they decided to condescendingly refer me to a domain name that cost $10.00. They have ignored my last two emails and shown absolutely no customer service whatsoever. AVOID and use a more trustworthy supplier.

We are a domain marketplace and we do not determine the pricing or negotiations on our platform. Rather, domain owners are responsible for setting pricing and negotiating. When looking at this user's history, they submitted an offer for less than half of the domain owner's asking price. The domain owner was not interested in pursuing negotiations further as a result of what they considered to a be a "lowball" offer. Our customer service team is readily available and we respond to all legitimate inquiries & questions.
