Like a lot of Seniors, I felt it was time to diversify my IRA. Patriot Gold was a pleasure to work with. They provide prolific information about the market and products available for IRAs. The administrative process is easy if you have a scanner or fax. Of course, you need to know what you want because they only provide information and are not investment counselors. Choices of vault locations are available. They may not be close to you. It does take a while for the vaults to process deliveries. One should look up market prices for specific products you expect to purchase so that you can make informed decisions quickly while offered various products and pricing. Some prices I think I could match and others were much better than I could find on the open market. But that is part of what PGG does for you. All records, values, after purchase are in spot price/oz for the day. One should also consider how you want to take RMDs for the next few years. All in all it was a pleasurable experience though stressful making big decisions. Trusting who you are working with is important.
