PathriseReviews of pathrise.com

I was able to land on my first internship through this program! I had difficulties looking for jobs myself (especially with interviews), but Pathrise was able to give me the knowledge and confidence to tackle through! If you're having doubts about the $$, think of it this way: being able to learn and make money (by getting a job) while giving up some of your paycheck is much better than making no money AND gaining no knowledge. 4 stars because every company can improve and make their company better!

Great personalized, practical advice and support from both the core curriculum taught and small group sessions. Main strength is that it offers an adviser who I can reach out to fairly frequently on Slack and can schedule for 1-on-1 meetings very conveniently, for help in any phase throughout my job search. The advisers are experienced and having been recruiters themselves, truly understand the current trends and needs in the hiring space and cater advice accordingly that gave me an edge against other applicants.

Knowledgeable advisors who want the best for your career prospects! Giving 4 stars because I felt like the PM team was not as collaborative as the SWE team. Could be because we were fewer too.

If you want to start a career as a software engineer and you have the technical knowledge but aren't sure how to land that first job, Pathrise can absolutely get you the tools you need. They also have a program geared toward data scientists, but searching for tech roles that fall outside those categories involves generalizing from Pathrise's advice. The salary negotiation tips alone paid for their service in my case.

Pathrise is a great program for recent graduates! I enjoyed my experience with Pathrise. They taught a lot about the recruiting process and made me realize that companies should be fighting over me instead of me fighting over companies. Having everyday access to a mentor was great - we were able to have scheduled and ad hoc meetings to prepare for interviews. Being a part of a community of other designers was helpful as well. If you're struggling to find a job, or if you are looking to work on negotiation skills, Pathrise can help!

Great experience Excellent access to mentors who are experts in their respective fields in industry. Through this platform, I was able to ask all and any questions related to my resume, interview questions, behavioral questions etc. Where they lacked in a particular area of technical expertise, Pathrise went out of their way to get me a session with a professional in industry for that specific area. In my opinion, a this program is a must for individuals looking to get into entry level software engineering roles.

Highly recommended to join Pathrise if you are really desperate about getting the first (dream) tech (Software Engineer) job. Lots of organized data about tracking applications and interview preparations. Personalized advising sessions are my favorite, so each fellow can track his/her problems to improve. However, I really hope that Pathrise gives intensive exams to fellows continuously. Thus fellows can be really encourage to improve programming interview skills and job search without making lenient about job search.

Helped me get a great job that I wanted. Provided everything that was necessary to get it: plans, feedback, emotional support. I took a star off because, well, Pathrise is a pretty new startup and there was some structural friction. Some threads of plans were dropped suddenly or experimentally.
