I have been truly fortunate to work with Pathrise; they have entirely transformed my job search. As a healthcare professional who recently completed a bootcamp to transition into software engineering, I needed support and resources to help me navigate this change. Pathrise provided just that. The income share agreement model is palatable at best. However, the total cost has been well worth it for the top-notch resources and industry connections I have gained through Pathrise. While I am thoroughly impressed with Pathrise, a stronger focus on making high-quality network connections and increased support during the job search would enhance the experience even more. The team at Pathrise has been accommodating, but I would appreciate additional assistance in streamlining my job search efforts. In conclusion, I highly recommend Pathrise to anyone looking to jumpstart their career or transition into a new field. My experience with Pathrise has been exceptional. Therefore, I am giving them a 4-star review in recognition of their impact on my job search journey and the valuable resources they have provided.

The value added to my professional profile during my time with Pathrise is priceless. I have never felt more confident in my ability to get interviews and job offers, and the uncertainty I felt in transitioning from academia has been completely dispelled. My mentors were world-class professionals. The amount of guidance and support I received will accelerate my carrer growth for years to come. And the connections I made with my mentors will last for a lifetime. The dashboard platform is still in its early says technically, but the resources provided are well worth the occasional headache. Additionally, it would be nice if my coordinator didn't ghost me immediately after beginning the program. All in all, I would recommend Pathrise to anyone struggling to land interviews and/or offers in their chosen field. They will work with you systematically to get you in track to your dream job. Providing all the resources and support you could ever need.

Meeting with industry-centric professionals was truly helpful in my quest to finding new career opportunities. The resume workshops with my coach alongside engaging in mock-interviews with mentors provided me with the tools to succeed.

My experience was made excellent by the mentors. My career mentor never failed to leave me with actionable advice on how to improve my resume, job search and my chances at getting interviews. The industry mentors helped make sure I was ready for the interview process, behaviorally and technically. The workshops were helpful in that they instilled confidence in me that I have what it takes to be a software developer, and it turns out, I do!

I would say that Pathrise is pretty good, but could use some room for improvement. In the tech-savvy preparation especially, I think that Pathrise can do much better. Right now, one of my problems with Pathrise is that while it's very good with helping candidates apply for job, it often feels like you're on your own when it comes to preparation. Thankfully, meeting with an industry mentor (the technical guys who help with honing your skills) is accessible, but the problem is that they are optional, not required like how the career mentors are. I think that one thing that would make Pathrise a much more worthwhile experience is to assign us rigorous industry mentors who hold us accountable and make sure that we get Leetcode work done EVERY SINGLE WEEK, just like we meet with career mentors. Since these industry mentors are already general FAANG (or other companies') employees or alumni, we should also get behavioral coaching from these guys. Also, Pathrise needs to work on making its Leetcode sessions and other featured programs better at rebounding when an industry mentor leaves. Example: Mohy Saleh, an industry mentor, left Pathrise and used to coach group mock interviews, and ever since he left, this workshop has not been happening. Pathrise is a good organization, but needs to work on its interaction with the industry mentors, who should be mandatory for fellows to meet with. On the side, we should have credits to schedule with additional industry or career mentors, but the industry mentors should be much more internally involved in, and running, Pathrise, than they currently are. Thus, while I enjoy the experience at Pathrise, I cannot give it an excellent five-star rating until this is improved. Furthermore, I do not see how Pathrise is worth 7% of our salary in the meantime as we mostly have on-our-own Leetcode sessions without weekly, rigorous meetings with industry mentors to help push us to a career. This, combined with Pathrise often being slow to recover sessions lost when an industry mentor leaves (such as the group mock interviews), leads me to the conclusion that, as of current, Pathrise should not be charging 7% of the salary to freshly placed candidates. That percentage should be brought down to 5 until industry mentors are more internally involved.

Pathrise offers an incredible opportunity to drastically improve your chances of landing your dream job. The staff, software, and tools are unparalleled. From my experience as a Pro Fellow, the whole experience has paid for itself and is truly awesome. The team was able to fully reconstruct my resume, portfolio, and LinkedIn to a point where I could apply for any possible job. Pathrise's networking, job blast, and exclusive job listings allow for Fellows to be several steps ahead of generic applicants, and this is huge in a hot job market. Like any newer company, there are some flaws in communication and software, but Pathrise has quickly jumped to solve any problem and is getting better each day. The overall rating is 8.5/10. Pathrise is awesome!

I was on the program for about 7mo and landed UX Designer role at one of FAANG companies. Short answer: ✅Was Pathrise worth it? YES 👍 it absolutely was. ✅Do I think I could have landed my position without Pathrise's help? 100% absolutely NO 👎. ⛔️However, during the program, there was a phase I was seriously considering dropping out thinking it wasn't worth it. Below are the reasons why. My background: I came from senior-level design background and in process of transitioning into UX after GA bootcamp. (I'd say I'm one of those very skeptical people full of doubts and tries to measure from every critical perspective if this is worth my time and $.) Onboarding process: Upon 2wk trial signup, Kevin(founder) booked a virtual group meeting explaining the program for all the new trial members. ✅There is NO commitment and they allow you limited access to the platform to interact with tools, resources and attend meetings/workshops. ✅ Very attentive to your questions and I would highly encourage asking about all the different types of pymt questions that best fit your financial situation (they have upfront OR pay % later when you get offer) so you could proceed with what you are comfortable with before committing to this program bc some information weren't available on the website. ✅Also, they had scholarships for women/minority. Ask! during this virtual orientational meeting. During 2wk trial it was bit confusing (I wasn't able to join the 1:1 meetings/workshop/ use platform-tools) bc there was a communication mix-up btwn the mentors to allow me access. At the time platform itself was bit unstable and buggy but I think they fixed this to work better over the course of time. (ex. job application extension tool and status update feature on the platform was buggy till the end. I just ended up using my own xcl spreadsheet to keep up w/ application status.) After commitment: So you get a career mentor assigned to you ( they choose for you). You meet once weekly. They work with you on resumes, generic application tactics and methods etc.) ✅Their emotional support is absolutely AMAZING. Each mentor will have a different personality how they support the fellow(me) but mine was very understanding, sensitive, and attentive to every rejection I got. ⛔️I didn't get an interview response for 4-5months after applying diligently through the program. I think partly because the market was down during Covid winter and partly my portfolio wasn't selling. Since there weren't updates to discuss during the weekly session, I started to notice meetings started to get canceld or rescheduled from their end. I felt bumped from their prioritized fellow list and unimportant(though no such thing exist and later i was told it's due to their personal reasons). Since I'd paid upfront, and their advised methods didn't feel effective and felt nothing new compared to feedbacks from free advisors on different platforms, at the time I considered dropping out during this phase (sooner i drop out, I'd get some of my$ back) I couldn't help but feel they got more proactive once I started to book interviews with big-name companies. Then the industry mentors: They were Product/UX designers working in the industry and gave design advice / industry-specific feedbacks. (you can choose to book 1:1with different mentors as often as needed) ⛔️There was a trial&error phase where I needed to find the right one that fit my needs and able to give me the right level of advice. I tried to meet with a variety of them in the beginning, had them give feedback on my portfolio-some were rather curt, some gave bland feedbacks, some I felt like they focused on the wrong things. ✅Once I found the mentor who I felt connected and the right level of working style, I continued to book with just that mentor throughout my whole program. ✅This maximized my effort because by connecting 1:1 with one mentor regularly she was also able to see my progress and understand the history of my development. I think this enabled her to provide more 'personalized' feedback. Esp before each round of interviews, we would carefully curate slidedecks/ speaking points for most impactful results. I think you can only do this when you've built some level of relationship with your mentor. Final say: ✅Make the effort to create HUMAN connections with your mentors. Bond, build relationships w/ your mentor (It took me some time to open up bc of my vulnerability or insecurity of being a transitioner/job seeker). The emotional and mental support they provided for me was far valuable. ✅And we celebrated HARDER when I got my offer. It was bittersweet to exit the program because I became so fond of them. I really appreciated all their help and how they genuinely cared for my success.

To be frank, without the help of my career mentor and the resources of Pathrise, I would not be able to get a new job. Whatever research they have done, works. Before Pathrise, I expected recruiters to get me a job. After Pathrise, I create positions for myself. The only thing that I felt was lacking in Pathrise was industry mentor support. My industry mentor was among the busiest people in the company, and never really responded to e-mails or meeting requests.
