Hi Stephanie. I'm so sorry to hear that you're still upset about our decision not to work with you! As I mentioned in my response to your email on April 10th, we made the determination that Pathrise isn't setup to support you - a determination we make everyday when considering if our current model can add value to folks' job searches - and lives! - or not. When we know that what we offer: whether that's tracks and Mentors with a specific area of expertise or support within a greater infrastructure that requires a certain time commitment from our Fellows - isn't ideal for someone, we aim to communicate with them politely and proactively, as we did with you, to ensure they know they aren't beholden to legal and financial obligations for services we know we can't provide. I will reply again on the thread that we were last communicating on - and if you'd like to setup a time to talk, I'm happy to do so. Making anyone feel like a loser is never our aim, so perhaps we can review the emails that were sent and you can let me know how we can soften them to ensure everyone knows how valued and valuable they are. As I stated to you on 4/10 - and until we hopefully connect - I sincerely hope you are well! I wish all the luck I can send you and I hope to hear from you soon.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Pathrise was disappointing - I understand what a bummer it can be to receive word that you weren't accepted to a program you were excited to apply for. Char, while our Admissions Team has careful criteria that they consider when deciding whether to admit applicants or not, we occasionally overlook a detail or make a mistake in our acceptance process!
