Payment system fails, then the penalties keep increasing
My experience with parkinginvoice (dot) com called them as Professional Parking Management has left me feeling that this parking service operates like a money trap. I work in the same building and paid for my parking session. When I needed to extend it, I tried to do so through the mobile payment system. Instead of processing my payment, the system displayed an error page. I tried twice and received the same error both times. I have screenshots documenting both failed attempts. When I returned to my vehicle approximately 20 minutes after the paid session expired, I had been issued a parking penalty. A further charge of 50 has since been added. I made a clear effort to pay for the additional time, but the payment system prevented me from completing the transaction. Being penalized under those circumstances-and then seeing the amount increase-feels deeply unfair and raises serious questions about how this service treats its customers. From my perspective, this feels like a scam: the system fails when you try to pay, yet you are still expected to bear the financial consequences. Customers should be able to trust that a parking operator provides a functioning payment service and fairly considers evidence of technical problems. I am asking the company to review my screenshots, cancel the original penalty and the additional charge, and confirm in writing that the notice has been removed from its outstanding records. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service. Keep screenshots of every payment attempt, because trying to pay may still leave you facing escalating charges.
