Was promised a call the day before…
Was promised a call the day before delivery of a 120# power chair which never happened. Got a call from a truck driver that chair was being delivered and I had to rush home to get the box in out of the rain. The box was extremely dirty like it had been showered in coal dust--nasty. Just now putting the chair together and the instructions leave a lot to be desired for a novice. So like most online purchases the good service ends once they have your money. The chair looks like it will be a good thing for the wife. Update: After an unexpected phone call today from Parentgiving they have stepped up to make sure their truckers do the right thing in the future and cover my inconvenience so I have changed my review from three stars to five stars! My wife loves her power chair and I'm pleased with Parentgiving's actions to make our experience much better. Thank you! I'm not changing my three star rating but I do appreciate the apology which does not change the original problem in any way. I did over come the weak assembly instructions and the chair runs like a champ. It is a five star chair for sure and runs smooth and quiet in the apartment. It turns on a dime and takes up less space than her manual wheelchair. I am certainly happy with the power chair!

It was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone. We sincerely apologize for the poor delivery experience you had and the condition of the shipping carton. Our shipping warehouse has been notified of their negligence in making an appointment with you for delivery. This was inexcusable. When we spoke you indicated you would be able to assemble the chair with the instructions provided but please let me know if you are unsure of any of the steps. I will have the problem resolved quickly for you. . Parentgiving always strives to make every purchase a priority and will help you in any way we can to regain your trust.
