There is a review on here talking about the zamberlan vioz 996 gtx back when these boots were first made they were treated with chemicals that are now banned so the leather is now soft are tears up so bad that's after one munro that they probably won't last 1year my first pair lasted 10 years and 100 Munro's and the leather looked in better condition on my old pair I wish I just got them resoled
