Deceptive Practices
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to avoid this company at all costs. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling into the same trap. From the beginning, the company was incredibly pushy about getting my business. As someone who has worked in sales, I understood the hustle and didn't think much of it. I paid $4,950 for a book with their "Best Seller Package," which was supposed to include everything from writing and book cover design to publishing and distribution. I wanted the best for my project and was willing to pay for it. However, what followed was nothing but a series of red flags and disappointments. Three weeks after making the initial payment, I was hit with an unexpected fee of $2,250 for distribution. This was alarming, but I chose to believe it would be beneficial in the long run. My concerns grew during the next call when the person assigned to help me started asking about my life story, assuming my book was a memoir. I repeatedly clarified that it was fiction with a well-developed plot, but they seemed intent on pushing their own narrative. When I received the first outline, it was clear they had not listened to a word I said. The outline was nonsense, trying to force my story into a memoir format. Frustrated, I took matters into my own hands, rewriting the outline to match my vision. Yet, when I received the prologue, it was as if AI had written it—completely off the mark and not aligned with my requirements. Weeks went by, and the so-called "writer" kept stalling, wanting to discuss chapters 1-2, despite me having already provided detailed directions. It was clear they were not following my outline or respecting my creative direction. The final straw came when the "Publishing Department" called, asking for another $1,250 to begin the publishing process—a service that was supposedly included in the initial package. They even suggested I create fake profiles to post reviews of my book to boost sales. This unethical request was the last red flag I needed to pull the plug. When I tried to dispute the charges, they refused to provide a refund, despite a contract promising a 100% money-back guarantee if unsatisfied. The situation escalated, and I had to involve my lawyer and bank. Since then, the company has been harassing me, urging me to drop the proceedings and promising to return my money. Long story short, this company is a scam. They are more interested in squeezing money out of you than delivering quality work. Learn from my experience and do not trust the fake reviews or their empty promises. Save yourself the stress, money, and time !!!!!!
