Holistic, Compassionate Care
I worked with Molly Cook for over 4 years and I cannot recommend her or her practice enough. Onward Therapy and Wellness has offered so many wellness services (group therapy, yoga, sound baths, meditation, massage, etc.) and has such a well-rounded focus on providing holistic care mind, body, and soul. I participated in every event and class I was able, and I had an amazing experience with everyone. Onward clearly prioritizes top care all around, even when if you have an insurance/billing issue, Jeff has got your back! The mental and emotional work I did with Molly completely transformed my life. When I first started therapy with her, my life was extremely small and limited due to chronic pain and CPTSD. The foundation we built allowed me to feel hope for the first time in years and gave me strength to start reconnecting with myself. All the deep work we did together helped me learn and accept so much about myself. The life I live now is more than I ever could have dreamed of when I first walked into her office all those years ago. I have since come out as queer, learned how to accommodate my neurodivergence, and expanded my life beyond my chronic pain (and experience significantly less pain!). These were all parts of myself I had been blocked off from due to trauma and societal conditioning. I am extremely grateful to be living a much more integrated life, and I owe that to all the care, patience, and efforts of Molly and her team. I also worked with Erin Knebel for several months and she was absolutely fantastic. I learned so much about IFS, spirituality, and we worked through some deep, old wounds. The work we did together was instrumental in big life transitions. This has all culminated in me accomplishing a long-time goal of relocating to the East Coast. I moved to central New York a few months ago, and the therapeutic tools I have taken with me have completely saved me during the stress of a quick cross country move and after to build a vibrant community around me. If you are in search of a therapeutic practice who cares about your entire wellbeing and will do the difficult, meaningful work with you, Onward Therapy and Wellness is your place. Molly, Erin, and the entire team at Onward, thank you so much for your compassion, knowledge, and work. Onward holds such a dear place in my heart, and I cannot thank you enough for helping me on my journey.
