Trip to Thailand
Me and my sister booked to go to Thailand visiting 5 places in February this year . My sister rang the company Oneworld travel and spoke to a guy called Rex who was the agent to organise our trip . During the conversation my sister was with Rex was going very well, till I mentioned about the change off the flight details , I said due to the change we are loosing a day instead off landing in the morning we now landing at night. I said to Rex what extra are you going to give us for loosing a day. He got back to us and said we will give you floating market trip plus famous train trip through the market . We accept his offer . So still looking ok upto this time. Landed in Bangkok got the the hotel slight higup as it was Chinese new year so we had to walk 1/2 mile the taxi couldn’t get to close because off the crowded area and some roads was blocked . Everything at the hotel was good but I notice on our paperwork that we land in Phuket airport at 9.30 and the transfer from the airport he booked for us wasn’t till 4pm in the afternoon , this were things started to go wrong . Elaine tried to contact Rex but couldn’t get through so we decided to pay for our own taxi to the next destination. This cost us £84 . We got the next hotel in krabi when we got the the hotel it wasn’t up to our standard what we ask for. First off all no restaurant or bar only for breakfast the lobby and the look off the hotel was not very inviting,looks like a concrete block the swimming pool area was only from the ground floor rooms that goes directly to the pool. It was very narrow and 20m long The hotel room was good . Onto the next place which was the elephant hills in . When we got thier at the reception they said you have only one room booked we said no they should be 2rooms booked Bye this stage Elaine was getting very stressed and I was getting annoyed because we could get through on the phone not even answering our texts. After about 1hour we finally got through and spoke a guy called max who said I’m now in charge Rex has left the company but previously they said he was away something regarding his family. So the elephant hills said go on the tour to see the elephants and the canoeing and see us when you get back. After 3/4hrs on the tour got to the reception and they said everything has been sorted . But me and my sister wasn’t happy it coarse so much stress and still wasn’t replying to our texts. Because somehow we didn’t have the paperwork from elephant hills to our next destination. So we tried to contact them again still found it hard to contact them eventually got through and got sorted but this should have been done before we left England . Now Elaine and myself was getting really pissed off say we want a refund when we get back . On the kohl lak the hotel was very good more like a5star outside area not so very run down . Still had problems in getting in touch we the company . Next to Phuket the hotel was very good very pleasant, we had a good time here . Can’t fault the service. Then it was time to leave Thailand got to airport . But overall the service was very poor indeed,it was very frustrating they couldn’t answer their phones or reply to our texts. We feel angry and let down bye this company.we will not be using this company again it was bloody awful service. Mr bramleysmith
