He obtained his Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and did post-doctoral fellowships in Clinical Nutrition and Lipid Metabolism with Dr. Bill Connor at the Oregon Health Sciences University. His interest in omega-3 fatty acids began with his postdoctoral work when he published his first study on the effects of salmon oil on serum lipids in humans (1980). Since that time he has been the recipient of five NIH grants for studies on the effects of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) on human health. Dr. Harris co-invented the Omega-3 Index in 2004 and made it commercially available to the research community and the public in 2009. Result waiting time is too long in my opinion compare with previous another companies home tests.

Turnaround time was quick and process was easy! I deducted a star because I initially did not receive all items in my order and had to follow up.

Service was good, but it seems expensive for one test.
Alex
It would be even better if we were given actual measurements instead of just percentages. Otherwise, it's really great!
Michael J.
Good costly test.

Test kit is simple. However, the kit instructions do not match the website instructions. Specifically, that the blood droplet should be visible on the reverse side. Test results were promptly reported. The portal should allow you to view former test date results or have the ability to graph progress over time.

Hartland eye Care with Dr. Doug, encouraged me to get your products. What surprised me was the cost of the lab work, not that your company should not charge for your work, just that all was not specified up front. Hopefully it will be justified. In the instructions, I thought that I was to use more than one finger to get blood for the sample. Now I know one finger dripping on to the 3 spots was enough, an error on my part.
