Absolutely Horrified. They backed me into a corner upon moving day and charged me double than the original amount (after I specified the dimensions and asked numerous questions about what the price included). The insurance is complete BS. The third party movers they hired destroyed almost everything I own... $2,000 tv down the drain (insurance only covered $42!) like what??? This company is a complete scam and you would find better movers ANYWHERE ELSE. Called customer service and they will do nothing about it, they rave about there reviews but I clearly should have looked into them more because they are not good.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! COMPLETE SCAM! I will be reporting to my credit card company. they feed you lines of how great the service will be, we can meet ur deadlines, we will bring you packing supplies, and disassemble and reassemble your items. all lies. and they originally quoted us 13 thousand dollars. once they packed up all my items the cost was 21 thousand. at 2am they forced me to sign the document with no options and my stuff already in two locked trucks! they outsource their work. and two U-HAUL trucks pulled up with three guys with a completely different contract and different pricing. it’s a scam

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! they charge a huge broker fee, there is no refund if you cancel your move, and the movers they had come in from St. Louis were careless and unprepared. I had to take one of them to town to rent a second penske truck because they didn't estimate our job right. Cost us $13000 when quoted $7200

The only good thing I can say is that the actual movers who showed up at my house were amazing. AmeriSafe, or whatever other name they use, charged me $1740 up front and I found out later that was strictly a “brokers fee”. I listed every single thing I was moving and my estimate from them was still short several thousand dollars. It ended up being double what I was quoted. The initial phone call with AmeriSafe was polite and seemingly helpful. Then I read some reviews and called with questions. No more polite. The sales person was rude and disrespectful. Call a mover directly. Don’t use a broker.

There is nothing about this group of companies that is trustworthy. They did a terrible job with move (nearly $3500 damage and no settlement in sight), the price was inflated, and the communication with company was useless AmeriSafe NWMoving Pro-Quality Relocation, LLC

My wife had tried to research moving services for our cross country move upon my medical separation from the military. When she found this company and had contacted them she got a good feeling that they were truly helpful and cared about helping us through this process. My wife described everything that we had down to the last detail and even over exaggerated to try to ensure a quote resulting in an accurate as possible charge as we could. We received a quote that we felt comfortable paying, to include supplies and packaging our kitchen up,and paid half to Amerisafe and were told the other half would be split into two payments between pick up and delivery. The sales person my wife spoke to, Alexis, was kind and understanding with all the last minute questions my wife had up until a couple days before our move when she just stopped answering or returning my wife's calls. We were told that all of our concerns were going to be handled and that one of the other important things, a weight receipt, that was needed would be given to us. On moving day, the driver of the truck did the first in person walk through and said that this was more than he was told among other things, like the weight receipt, that were not relayed to them. They explained that there would be extra costs for the materials, manpower used to pack, as well as the excess space we took up. My wife and I we're already stressed and this only added to that as we hurried to pack our kitchen, now we had to worry about the extra financial burden this placed on us. After everything was loaded we were given the total of the extra costs and it doubled. This was not acceptable but what were we to do after everything was loaded and our lease was at its last day. So we paid reluctantly and went to our hotel room, exhausted, stressed, and unsure of what to do. The next day I called Amerisafe and was treated like I was dumb for not expecting the price to go up and gaslit constantly about how this all played out and affected my wife and I. I would not recommend this company to anyone for how they conduct their business let alone how they've taken advantage of us.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If there were a way in which I could give negative stars I certainly would. They low ball the total amount to get your business and then they have their moving company get you for more money. First of all, we showed the driver what needed to be packed (same as the guy who gave us the original quote) however, the driver wanted us to pay $4000 more to pack our items. That should have been my first red flag - we paid it. To me this was a huge scam!! BAIT & SWITCH. When they finished the driver said it was going to be more money BUT! if we paid them a tip they would call it even. This was basically extortion in my opinion. The packing company AmeriSafe used was Jackson Moving. HORRIBLE!!!!!! The individual who packed my office should be fired immediately. I had a tiffany lampshade heirloom in there to be packed and what he did was a joke!! He just stuck it in a box with NO padding, NO paper No bubble wrap and you can only imagine what it looked like when it arrived - broken!!! Also, several antique lamp light sockets were bent, my pictures that were hand painted by family friends were just thrown into a box without any protective covering. I could go on but I won't To be honest and blunt! I would NOT recommend AmeriSafe or Jackson Moving to my worst enemy. They would even deserve better. One bright thing in all of this is... the people who unloaded us were great however, they aren't associated with Jackson Moving or AmeriSafe. RUN from these companies!

Absolutely and thoroughly lame. DO NOT give them your business! I wish I'd seen all the reviews here before I went with them....there were good reviews elsewhere but they must be phony. Like other reviewers, I had the following problems: - actual cost MORE THAN 2x their estimate - multiple phony fees (" shuttle fee" , "distance fee"; thankfully I was able to get many of these dropped by refusing to pay them) - very little advance notice given and then movers were 5 hours late to pick up - shoddy packing job - one week late with delivery and only 12 hours notice given, not 24 hours - whiny, rude, arrogant movers on both ends ...overall a really bad experience! STAY AWAY!
