This particular PA was so focused on SPEED and being "in charge" that she failed to notice I was a person. She showed irritation at my questions - and I have some medical background. I believe she saw "mental health issues" and assumed... something. (??) I have documentation of CPTSD - and that's it. I have made more than one suicide attempt. If I had not been as far along in therapy as I am, her attitude and pronouncement of "old and unfixable" could have had a seriously disastrous side effect! But she hadn't bothered to research WHAT that mental health issue actually was. She left me with OAM's PT department and walked away. They were too busy to see me. So I went to my own PT in Standale, (Center for Physical Rehab), much closer to where I live. It helped, but I'm still having trouble, even 5 months later.

After reviewing it closely, this experience sounds like it relates to a visit with a healthcare provider (a PA and a physical therapy referral) rather than anything Nordicalab offers — we're an online self-assessment platform and don't have in-person appointments, physician assistants, or PT referrals. It's a FREE test online but costs US$1.00 to access it when you've finished. Not expensive but annoying not to be clear about their charge up front.
