Never again will I use dental health associates, at the Irvington, New Jersey location. Every single time I call and talk to an associate it’s always something different their telling me from the last time. My daughter needs a cap on her tooth. I specifically asked for an appointment on a Tuesday. They give me an appointment on a Tuesday and then change it without even telling me. Also, when I first made the appointment for my daughter, they told me we have to wait for an approval from insurance. A whole month goes by before I called back to see what was going on. The answer they gave me was “ We we’re waiting for you to make an appointment.” My answer was “ So why anyone didn’t call or send an email ?” My daughter needs her dental work done for her school dental records and all this time has gone by. I called today just to re confirm the appointment for a Tuesday. The receptionist on the phone asked for my daughter information, I gave it to her. But then when I explained to her the issue with the appointment, she goes “ they changed the appointment to August 1st at 12pm so what you wanna do ?” I’ve been working in customer service since I was 16 years old the lady that answered the phone had an attitude and that’s not customer service what so ever. Almost everyone in there is rude and disrespectful. If I ever were to use dental health associates again, I will never use this location again!!!!

When it comes to scheduling and appointments you can do better than what you currently do. The staff does what they are allowed with the current policies. It is a high volume office there should be a varied ways of options for current/long time customers. Please try to go digital for scheduling and bill payments.

DHA has been incompetent in scheduling and service. One of their oral surgeons broke my jaw trying to pull a tooth that was not there. They subsequently tried to blame someone else. They scheduled me with the wrong Dr 4 times in a row. They have "lost" xrays. I've never seen anything like this before.

Bad timing to see a patient. Bad customer service from stuff.

They don't correspond properly and their services are not good. A member of mine have notified one of the hygienists that there is a cavity and it needs to be taken care of but they says that it's just a dark spot no need for a fill in......However, when visit a another Dental care provider they did an exam and noticed that it was a cavity and immediately need attention so they schedule a appointment and it didn't take long.

Office does extra procedures that is not needed and not covered by insurance and ask me to pay for something I do not need. They did not put any effort to get my family records from previous dentist. This bad experience with general density, Orthodontist people are different and they are clear and they answer all client questions
