STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! PICK ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY!! 1) They increased the estimate by over $3,000.00. 2) The packers did a horrible job wrapping a huge TV (costing about $2,000.00 in purchase price) in 3 blankets and some tape. No box and extra bubble wrap was used at all. The TV was broke and there was a 6-inch wide black streak from top to bottom on the right hand side which was discovered Best Buy came to plug in and mount the TV. 3) They were stuffing expensive frames and art work into boxes like the box had a bottomless pit. Multiple custom frames were broken, damaged, chipped, and cracked. 4) They taped a bar stool with a blanet so tight that the wood cracked and the rivet popped out. 5) They damaged night stands and broked shelving units where wood was broken off on the top and bottom. 6) Shelves that went with shelving units were bent and damaged. 7) They managed to crack the wooden slats of the bed frame that the box spring and mattress are supported by. We went to sleep that night on the bed and 2 of 3 wooden slats cracked and broke. 8) One of the two filing cabinets was never delivered and is still missing. ***All of this stuff minus the big TV has been thru 4 military moves and never was cracked, damaged, or broken. This company managed to damage and break those items in one move. *** 9) The delivery was delayed by 10 days and the company rep blamed the lack of informtion flow of how the delivery timeline works on the truck driver. It costs me over $1,000.00 in hotel stays not including food since our delivery was delayed by 10 days. 10) Don't bother using the claims website they recommend because they give you nothing in return for losses or damages.

My experience with Next Relocation has been highly unprofessional, frustrating, and, in my view, unacceptable from both a service and accountability standpoint. Next Relo’s team was responsible for packing my TV, and it was delivered in a damaged condition. As the party that packed and handled the item, they bear responsibility for its condition upon delivery. Despite this, resolving the claim has turned into an unnecessarily prolonged and difficult process. I initiated my claim on March 21, and since then, I have encountered repeated delays and what appears to be systematic obstruction. I have been asked to submit the same information multiple times, with no meaningful progress toward resolution. This pattern suggests either significant operational dysfunction or an intentional effort to delay claim settlement. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency throughout the process. Key details were not clearly disclosed upfront, raising concerns about how customer expectations are managed. Most concerning was the dismissive and unprofessional conduct from a company representative. When I stated that I would be filing a formal complaint, I was told, “do whatever makes you happy.” This response demonstrates a clear disregard for customer concerns and undermines confidence in the company’s commitment to resolving disputes in good faith. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Next Relocation. Customers should exercise caution and carefully review their policies, documentation, and claims process before engaging their services.

Do not deal with this company, they give you a quote only to severely increase it the day of your move. I was quoted $3000 initially for my move, was called 2 days prior to it only to have them increase it by $900. Then day of arrives, was told 1:30-3:30pm arrival. 7:30 they finally show up, one hour in they tell my they need to add another $1300. Get told delivery would be at 4:30 pm next day by didn't see them until 1230 the next day so my family had to sleep on the floor. They not only damaged items but also "lost" boxes and bins one involving a bin full of court documents and a family wedding ring. This company are a bunch of crooks and should not be allowed to continue to rip people off. DO NOT USE THEM.

I was given a good quote (too good to be true, it turns out), so I went with MoveSafe over other options, even though they're a broker. I talked to several people, who all confirmed my inventory and estimated cubic footage. One even bumped it up a bit "to be on the safe side." Lo and behold, the movers show up (Next Relocation) January 23 and immediately tell me my storage unit is more than the quoted size and want to upcharge me. Not only are the two guys condescending and rude, they completely ignored just about everything I asked for, including resignedly asking them to keep the load under the quoted amount. They loaded up more (or so they said), and wanted to charge me $1500 more to finish the job. Instead, they went with $500, $225 of which WAS JUST FOR A FEW CARDBOARD BOXES, and loaded up barely half of the inventory under the quote. All I needed was my pre-packed stuff moved from my storage unit in Illinois to a basement in Georgia. So now I still have a storage unit three states away I have to pay for, my budget for this move was completely obliterated, and the movers are nowhere to be found!
