Possible Impersonation Scam
Someone contacted me offering a “flexible remote part-time role.” The job involved logging into the netrush.space platform (on 8/13 it was netrusha.com which is described on BBB Scam Tracker), “purchasing” products and posting reviews for them. For each purchase, I was supposed to receive a 0.4% commission. The product would then be returned, and the purchase price would be refunded. I pointed out to this person that the company’s business model is based on deception—pretending that we are making purchases when we actually aren’t, and posting positive reviews without really knowing the products, but she disagreed. There are also "lucky orders" which makes clear that this is a scam. The user is required to deposit funds as a condition for being able to withdraw money.
