I enquired about business funding a while ago, Mitch Reeves kept onto me for about 6 weeks to help. After at first thinking he was a decent guy and here to help I had him find me some appropriate business funding. He found me a line of credit. Being busy I asked him to send me an email with break down of interest, fees and monthly repayments. He gave me initial monthly payments (based on 6 months) and said the interest was 18%. He got me approved and send through contract he was eager for me to sign that day. On the contract it had 28% with $3500 worth of fees over the year plus the usual $750 application fee. None of which he mentioned in the email. When I questioned the rate he couldn’t explain to me why there was two rates involved or what the different one was. When I said he should understand the rates well enough to explain them - and if he’s giving credit he should. He agreed that he should be able to and then told me “we should just leave it there” essentially denying my business for asking clarity on the rate. This is the most shady broker / lender in the business. Stay away. Terrible experience. I will be taking this to AFCA.

I am a freelance video editor. Between 12 and 25 April 2026, I produced 33 videos and 2 thumbnails for Nero Funding (Bags Enterprise LLC) at rates agreed in advance with the principal Nick Baggs. Total invoice: USD 2,710. Andre Dowdell paid an earlier USD 50 invoice at the same rate structure on 16 April. I delivered everything two days early. On 19 April Nick Baggs confirmed in writing the work "looks good." When I sent the main invoice he went silent for a week, then asked me to drop to USD 50/video and split into two invoices. I complied and reissued at his terms. He still did not pay and has stopped responding to over 20 calls and dozens of messages from me, my Polish intermediary, and his own business partner’s wife. All evidence (iMessage transcripts, call logs, invoices, the prior paid invoice) is retained. Posting this so other freelancers can make an informed decision before accepting work from this company.

05/01/2026 contracted with Nero Funding to purchase Shelf Corp and obtain $800k in business lines of credit within 30 days. On 6/18 I have still received nothing and now the company does not return my phone calls, texts or emails. I have requested a refund
