Experian has identified…
Experian has identified nationalpublicdata as having been the source of sensitive information about me being on the dark web. It is a commercial data broker that aggregates public records, packages them, and sells them to consumers through paid monthly subscriptions. While they market their services under the umbrella of safety, their business model relies on collecting, storing, and selling personal information. Pulling back the curtain on these data mining sites you see how they are so misleading and so dangerous. They do not guarantee the data is true. They take zero responsibility for damages. It shields them from strict federal laws. The reason companies like these use the disclaimer is to specifically to escape these federal protections. Like what the FCRA applies if the data is being used for employment, housing, credit, or insurance. This is the core contradiction of the data broker industry: they market themselves as an essential tool for safety, yet their own legal terms state that their data cannot be fully trusted.
