This should be illegal. Our tax paying dollars are what fund the parks. Not a single dime from this organization could keep even the smallest of our National Parks open. It is a scam to take people's money using the heart strings of protecting our National Parks. From their own website $83,800,000 to "Parks and Partners." Partners??? Their CEO makes $793,000 annually. "In the summer of 2025, NPF distributed $4.6million in infusion grants to campaign partners..." I'm going to set up a my own 501(c)3 non-profit for the Preservation of the Reflecting Pool so I can "infuse" money into my favorite Senator's PAC, while paying myself 3/4 of a million dollars.

With the current climate and funds and protections being stripped from our park systems, I wanted to donate to help protect these national treasures. However, they inundate you with emails and since donating to them I now get things to save the birds, save the elephants, save these natural natural treasure or that natural treasure. Meaning they sell your information. Disappointed to say the least. If you want to protect the parks, donate directly to a park(s) of your choice but I can't recommend donating to NPS

They waste money on $ appeals, sending me return address stickers which are NOT recyclable. For years, I have requested to be removed from their mailing list, to no avail. What do they actually spend money on that is not their fund raising bureaucracy? Why are they poorly rated by the non-profit rating services.

A beautiful place to visit. I always find something to learn or something that amazes me.

The National Park Foundation is not only about protecting the beautiful national parks across America. Strengthening their connections with the remarkable places is also what the National Park Foundation is promoting.
