If I could give a -1 star I would. Absolutely taking major advantage of people struggling. Bought grandson furniture with Bobs using Fortiva. Paid it off in record time. They charged me $ 30. Annual fee a year later when I wasn't using it anymore. Today they tried to say after one year it went up to 79.?! Luckily I got the charge waved but I had to close the account to stop this nonsense. It's bad for my credit score to do that but I no longer would do business with this co or Bobs. Do better! It's criminal the interest rates charged as well as this crazy annual fee. I recommend you RUN from using this.

They refused to remove a lie from my account or update it. They said to wait 10 business days which was too much time. Be aware! They will hurt you

Warning to everyone this is the worst credit card ever do not apply for it do not get it.. People who are trying to build their credit I went to a chapter 7 . after a year and a half managing my credit pay everything on time I took this credit card fortiva I can't understand how they work if I use a credit card they lower my credit score if I don't use it they still lower my credit score I use the credit card and I pay it off in 2 weeks.. for a sample they gave me $500 I only use $250 I paid off 2 weeks later report on my credit score negative..Please do not apply for it ..

Anyone who rates above a one star (even 2 stars) is being paid. Worst company for any form of card. Coming from a past retailer and customer. Scam

I have a HomeDepot Fortiva Credit Card. Ever since I changed my address, I am not able to use my card online. I have spent several hours and many days talking to HomeDepot and Fortiva and nobody seems to know why. HomeDepot has been more than helpful trying figure the issue out. They are not at fault. I love HomeDepot and this card is making it difficult to business with them. I am able to make purchases in store, but not online. Fortiva customer service are not helpful, rude, and insensitive. The answers Fortiva provides is there is nothing wrong with my card. I am less than please with this company. They are frustrating to deal with. I would not recommend this card to anyone. As soon as my balance is paid in full, I plan on cancelling the card.

I have not received my. Card!! I applied in person at a Home Depot store for a credit card with them and I was approved, I was even making a purchase that day and since I got approved for the card they just charged my purchase to the card and I got to keep the cash I had planned on paying with. I got approved for $2000 I seen it on the screen, I was also told to keep the receipt since I can use the temporary account on that receipt to make more pu r chases u til my card arrives supposedly no later than ten business days after I was approved. I received a denial letter in the mail after this telling me why I was denied but before I received the denial letter a new credit card had appeared in my credit report and it was the one I just got approved for from Home Depot, I dident understand what was going on or why I was getting a denial letter. I received a letter in the mail showing me my account how much I have that is still available and how much that I owe from the purchase that was charged to my card when I got approved in the Home Depot store, this letter was received after I got the denial letter confused I called and contacted somebody through customer support to find out what was going on with my card I figured if anyone would know what was going on with my card they would and if I was denied then they would inform me of that, they did not tell me I was denied they told me it has not been ten that they can see that it has not been ten business days and for me to wait for my card to show up. They did not tell my I was denied and on my credit report it shows as an open line of credit so it must have been approved! Well it has been over a month and I still have not received the card I tried contacting support again and couldn’t get through to a person but when I gave the automated machine my social security number it told me I do not have an account at all, that my application was denied. Now after all of this I have an open line of credit on my credit report with a balance due that I have NO WAY OF EVEN PAYING ON since I do not have any credit account/card due to my supposed denial. If I could have somebody contact me about this it would be greatly appreciated but due to this I am giving this company the worse rating I can and even that is not low enough. I even received an email from fortiva asking me to leave them a review so I left them this exact review word for word only to be met with an email the next day telling me that my review has been read by fortiva but it can not be published to their website and them thanking me for my contribution like wtf? Seriously you ask me for a review I give you a review of y’all screwing up and then you won’t publish it? That’s okay I’ll just leave the same review on here and all other platforms I can find to leave my review at until I get some kind of assistance with this issue and have been reached out to and contacted by fortiva personally to address and fix the issue at hand cause by their mess up

I have Fortiva credit for my security cameras. My bank card was compromised in April 2025. I put another card on file to have auto pay. In May I was charged a late fee and was informed I will be charged late fee up to 3 months. My point is how can a company do this if I was late one time due to my bank card being compromised. I have had them for almost 2 years and they have not had a problem auto drafting the payment. I will not recommend this company to any friends or family members.

I appreciate the help with a Fortiva Credit Account for medical issues, but they keep trying to give me a MC with 39.9% interest, $129 per year fee and a $700 credit limit. Are you serious? Not in a million years.
