Fortiva is such a piece of crap company. I got enrolled in paper statements without asking for it which charged me two dollars a month. I called and said hey I didn’t do this and they unenrolled me but by the time I got to it four months had gone by and they basically called me a liar, that I asked for it when I didn’t, and said they wouldn’t refund the eight dollars. And then the manager that I spoke to stayed on the line at the end of the call so that I would hang up first so that I couldn’t do a survey about how badly I was treated. Additionally, their customer service reps are clearly from India, and you can’t understand half of what they say because their accents are so bad. I officially hate this company now. Try to avoid them because they completely Suck and don’t care about customer service.

Unfortunately this is now the second time I have left a review for these people. It has been nothing but issues with Fortiva. My first experience with them was when I first signed up for my Vivint alarm system, my credit was “ran” to look for deals which was a complete lie as I found out they opened a line of credit without disclosing it until it was approved. Luckily I spoke with someone about that and was credited for that. Fast forward to November.. I changed my form of payment as my debit card expired and they did not notify me that my payment did not go through until days later resulting in late fees even though I changed my form of payment in their system to my checking account. Now we get to December…I had auto payments set up and the payment never came out so I made a manual payment so it wouldn’t come out late (not fault of mine it was their system). And all of a sudden I get a duplicate payment that overdraw my bank account. I call Fortiva which they refunded the money but they wouldn’t refunded to my checking account they are sending it through the mail which will take 21 DAYS!! To get my refund! You have got to be kidding me?? This has probably been the worst company I have ever experienced. If you can avoid using them..by all means stay clear away they make payments and refunds a nightmare.

Appalling and disgusting company. We paid our couch off in September of 2024 and they’ve charged us $30 per month since and by the time we pay it off they’ve already charged us again. They also charge $2 for paper statements. Worst credit company I’ve ever dealt with.

I would rate this company a -5 because they will not give you any grace period for your account and the late payment fee is very high at $41. You can’t even talk to a live rep except through chat. Crappy company and very high interest rates on loans 39%

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has been nothing but a headache. My account was wrongfully closed due to their own errors with payment information, yet they tried to make it seem like it was my fault. I provided the correct information, made payments on time, and still had to deal with their constant misinformation and lack of accountability. Their customer service is terrible no one gives a clear answer, and each person says something different. Instead of fixing their mistake, they closed my account and created unnecessary stress. This company needs to take responsibility for their own internal errors and stop misleading customers. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Haven't used this credit card for 2yrs. 1400 available credit, they quit sending me email notices,now send to messages. 600 in fees this year alone for supposed monitoring. Waiting for card to be canceled by company so it doesn't affect my credit score. But they keep activating charges so I am unable to do that. Horrible card.

I used Fortiva to cover the cost of a security system and install from Vivent. I made payments for several months and then paid the balance in full. I took a picture of the bill that showed the balance and the payment for that balance. They still tried to say I owed them money the next month! They said there was another purchase. There was not and I called Vivent and had them send me a full purchase history that proved nothing was bought after the install day. I had to have my lawyers go after them. I advise everyone to not use this company for any loans. They will rip you off and you will have to hire legal help. Please take note of all the negative reviews for this company.
