Do not be fooled by the new name
Don't be fooled - this company is a fraud. These reviews are listed under heartlandlegalgroup when, in fact, it is known as Heartland Legal Group. This company is a facade company (shell) of Strategic Financial Services. It has been trying to limit or reinvent so phone connection or website is difficult because of their prescreen messages. If you are lucky enough to get through by phone without having to wait over an hour, then you must be a brand new individual (not a previous "sucker" as I was). The company is involved in a major Attorney General and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau lawsuit out of New York with an additional six states. Reading the complaints is a must. It's easy to find the lawsuit under Minnesota AG where it is listed as a defendant under SFS by its Heartland Legal Group name. I am presently still experiencing small claims suits caused by this company. And my problem has occurred from March of 2020 until the present. I have on numerous occasions attempted to contact Heartland Legal Group, mostly to no avail. You will definitely get a he said/she said attitude. Once they shut down the electronic portal (your only REAL proof), you will be helpless. Beware.
