"I am writing this to warn other consumers about the 'Maximum Premium Indexing' (MPI) program run by Curtis Ray and underwritten by Mutual of Omaha. This product was aggressively marketed to me as a high-performing alternative to a Roth IRA. The marketing explicitly claimed the company would 'match' my principal contributions. The reality was entirely hidden: there is no match. The 'matching funds' are high-interest internal leverage loans executed against my own cash value. After contributing over $94,000 of hard principal over 3 years, my cash value was decimated down to approximately $44,700 due to astronomical, front-loaded fees and internal loan interest I never knowingly authorized. Furthermore, upon surrendering the policy, Mutual of Omaha engaged in severe bad-faith stall tactics—including demanding non-existent notarization blocks—and delayed the processing to cut a check dated September 24, allowing additional fees and $2,300 in 'loan interest' to be drained from my account during the delay. I have an active fraud investigation open with the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance (CSI). Avoid this program at all costs."
