I have enjoyed this experience so far. I like Taylor's Instruction technique and style and I have made more progress in my guitar learning than any other course that I have taken.

I subscribed to Musicmatchr after trying to learn guitar basics from books. The advertisement for the program described my situation exactly. I was stuck in a repetitive cycle and was bored with where I was. I tried one module from the program to see how it would work for me. I was astonished at how much information I learned and with what I was able to accomplish. Shortly thereafter, I subscribed for several more modules. Taylor presents the material in an easy to understand manner while explaining why it's necessary to use these building blocks. The modules are easy to navigate and the ability to back track is welcomed. I work with the program each day for an hour or so and I'm making steady progress. I am a late in life student and I stumbled into Taylor’s program by luck and decided to give it a try. I found the program easy to follow and it has certainly helped me realize this is something I can do.

I am an older student, who had been taking lessons for 7 years. I had no musical background except singing and dancing and could not read music. My instructor moved and I decided to try something different. I love all the options, different kinds of lessons, the fact that I can get questions answered during class, can re do lessons, have visual lessons,have options. I have seen so much progress and the actual development of self confidence. I will never be great but I love playing and it makes me happy. Finally! A program that makes gets me playing. I started learning guitar in November using a popular "learning guitar" app. After a few months I felt like i was not retaining the info and I was just going to thru the program. I wasn't growing as a player. I decided to stop that program and started a search for the unicorn of learning guitar. I found MusicMatchr online and scheduled a phone call intro with Taylor. What a blast! I have had a guitar sitting in my house for years that I never used and could maybe play 4 chords after watching YouTube videos with no success. MusicMatchr has completely changed me into an actual guitar player! I’m 2 months in and am now learning and playing through some of my favorite rock albums. Their muscle memory and progressive learning system they talk about is not joke. Rock on🤘

Thanks Taylor, As I said a few days back, I fell I’m about 5 levels above where I was before! Prior to this course, I was an open chord, campfire singer and guitar player, that played by ear,…couldn’t read music,…and didn’t know a thing about music theory. I didn’t know what concert tuning even was! Now I know quite a bit of theory, …no expert but I know how to figure out notes and chords up and down the neck, compose a scale….bar chords I thought would be difficult but I took to it and discovered a lot of short cuts on all the main shapes, so I can play them up and down the neck, AND know what they are. I’m actually looking for new songs on UG that have a few bar chords mixed in, so I can practice switching back and forth between open and bar chords! Anyway, you get the picture, it’s been a wonderful experience and made guitar a lot more enjoyable for me! I’m starting at the beginning again and work through it all again, and spend more time playing with the jam tracks! I’m rudimentary at some things like chord picking, finger picking and power chords but I know if I work through the modules again, and focus on the jam tracks…I’ll improve in all areas! Not too bad for an old guy with arthritis in his hands! Lol Thankyou so much Taylor,…I’ll be a cheerleader for you for sure! Dave
