Nice fit/ poor quality: lasts months not years.
I have been wearing Mr. Davis tailored crewneck undershirts for many years. I have purchased many dozens of these shirts over the years, both directly from their website and via Amazon. I love the fit, the lightweight fabric that breaths, the colors (especially the black tailored crew). Why two stars then? Frankly, it should probably be one. These shirts just don’t last long enough with regular wear. With careful washing (cold water, delicate cycle, gentle soap), and hang drying indoors, they fall apart in a matter of months, not years. If $34 got you a multipack (3? 6?) of shirts, that might be justifiable. But a $34 thin undershirt with fabric that rots in less than a year is an obscenity, both financially and environmentally. I have shirts in my closet that cost less and were purchased DECADES ago that haven’t changed significantly, while I am throwing these away after half a year. They are designed to fail: you wouldn't need a “vip” subscription service for your shirts if they were made of a quality fabric that didn’t rot within half a year’s use.
