On two occasions, I used Mox’s currency exchange function to convert HKD into GBP and EUR before making payments. Despite having enough funds in the relevant currency, Mox still charged my HKD balance and applied a 1.95% FX markup—the very fee I had exchanged currencies in advance to avoid. What is the point of offering currency exchange if the card ignores those balances when paying? This makes the feature misleading and has left me paying unnecessary fees. I have requested a refund and a clear explanation of why this happened.

Super terrible customer experience. Their customer support took 7 months to “review the status” of my financial charges. According to their customer support they need to review the fees, they take ages to reply, probably a bot and a really slow one. Save your sanity - don’t go to this bank - behind a dated design, they are highly dysfunctional

Poor customer service. Made me wait for MORE THAN 8 months and still could not get my money back. Don’t trust this bank.

Transferred thousands of Hong Kong dollar from PayPal to Mox and I am still unable to access the funds due to “ transaction delays “ they have stolen my money and I’m getting no answers . I will never bank with them again, worst service and worst customer service .
