Honestly I was skeptical giving up control. I have always moved myself. I figured I’m a little older so let’s let someone else handle the hard work for me. My god what a difference. I will never move myself again. It was so nice when my kids saw I could hire real movers to do the work. They’ve watched me cuss and stress out moving myself and fight with my wife. This time I could sit back and handle the other stuff. My price went up a little bit that’s on me. I forgot a few things. All in all. Awesome!

This was the first time that I have used a professional moving company and I did not know what exactly to expect given the mixed reviews the industry gets. So I don’t know if I got lucky or what but Moving Nation did everything right. I did not have to worry about my things getting damaged once I saw the care with which they were packing and carrying them. The movers were nice people, hardworking guys who did their job well and did not bum around. They deserve a lot of credit for getting everything in my new appartment on time and unscathed.

Moving Nation is probably the best balance of cost and reliability in the moving industry. I say that after having used more than 10 different companies over the past 12 years for my home, my parents’ home and my office. While most of them did an adequate job, none had the combination of good customer service, reliable timing and honest pricing that Moving Nation does. While moving a 2 bedroom house to Michigan is definitely not the biggest job they have done, the team was on the ball and treated my things with respect and care. Very highly recommended.

I hired Moving Nation to help us move my parents to Chicago suburbs where we live so we can take care of them. Their old 2 bedroom place was full of a lot of antiques and valuable things that they did not want to part with so we had to have professional movers handle such a major job. Moving Nation fit the bill and I was very impressed by how thorough the initial estimation assessment was – it took some time but was well worth it considering half the complaints against movers are for surprise charges after the move.

It is not just blind loyalty but a trust that Moving Nation has earned through many years and many, many great jobs they have completed for us. When you leave your possessions in their hand, you know they will deliver on time and without any damage. Our 3 bedroom home move to California was one of the best yet and we know we will be calling Moving Nation up for our next move, too.

This was my first time hiring Moving Nation for a move but I am pleased with the service and would recommend them. I usually use a different company for my moves but they recently went out of business so I was forced to look at others. Moving Nation happened to be in the same neighborhood so I popped in and the sales manager gave me a very good explanation of how they charge and showed how it could be cheaper without compromising on quality. I decided to try it out and they have done a wonderful job moving my 2-bedroom house to Maryland.

Absolutely wonderful experience with a very qualified team of movers. They arrived on time and delivered on time. In between, they managed to pack and load all my things in a way that ensured no damage whatsoever during a very long trip. Kudos. Looking forward to working with you again.

Choose this company only if you want a simple, straightforward move without all the hassles and confusion of the typical movers. I have used many others before and no one comes close to doing jobs at the same high quality but medium pricing like Moving Nation.
