Motion Design SchoolReviews of motiondesign.school

The course Blender & After Effects is definitely not worth the price. They refused to refund saying that I bought it with a discount coupon which is not true - the course was on sale, it's a completely different thing. They hide the information in a separate section of the website and publicise the fact that the courses are refundable. I'd avoid Motion Design School at all costs.

Motion Pro Course. As it was already written here in the comments, the course is more like an advertisement for MDS plugins. I was hoping to learn new tricks and techniques, but all learning is "click this button in the plugin". It is especially funny that at such a high price for the course, the plugin is given only for a few months. Course 2d to 3d with Cinema 4d. Complete disappointment. I bought the course in the belief that we will be assembling the scene shown in the promo for this course. No, it's not. They show how to make some objects, the rest you need to create yourself. Cool, especially for those who first opened C4d.

When you make a quick purchase be ready for no refund.

It's not that good like other review, it's like watching on youtube for $300+ every course bruhh

As a huge fan of the Motion Beasts 1 course, I was very happy when part 2 came out, and I bought it right away. However I was extremely disappointed – lessons are poorly prepared, and devoid of useful knowledge. Everything is based on MDS plugins, so you can’t really do anything if you don’t want to buy them later. I feel that instead of an animation course I bought advertisement for MDS plugins, and I basically didn’t learn anything new.

TERRIBLE. The Motion Beast 2 course was really badly done. There's a whole load of confusing NFT chat at the beginning and then once into the tutorials you get really boring and badly explained videos. The narrator will say 'this doesn't look good, so I'll make changes, now it looks better' without explaining the thought process behind the changes. I asked for a refund and just got ignored.

Pretty disappointed overall with Motion Beast 2. Only 3 months of access to the plugins paired with the course content in my honest opinion for the price you pay is not a good deal. There are some cool tools and ideas in the but I'm not a fan of the "NFT battle" format (seems a bit silly and forces you to follow their visual style). the tools/plugins are on a time limit so why even learn them or put them in my permanent workflow? It's also missing all of the Blender tutorials it said it had which I was looking forward to the most. Also one of the more boring ones to get through. Def the most disappointing MDS courses I've tried/ paid for so far. (I've done about 4-5 so far). I wouldn’t recommend 'Motion Beast 2' or 'Motion Pro' for the price point, unfortunately. Yes, I requested and was denied a refund. Overall lost a lot of respect and future business from a longtime customer over here.

They don’t communicate that they don’t accept refunds for discounted items, neither on the emails they promote their sales, nor on the checkout page. It’s hidden within their policy page. It’s definitely a dark pattern move, and a bit gross for a digital product. They refused to refund me when I tried cancelling within minutes of making the purchase too.
