I purchased an engine from Moon Auto Parts for close to $3,000, believing I was dealing with a company that would stand behind what it sold. Instead, this experience has turned into an expensive, drawn-out nightmare. The first engine they shipped arrived damaged and had to be refused. After everything that followed, I am now waiting on money that should be returned to me, and communication has deteriorated to the point where Moon Auto Parts is not returning my calls and is not answering the phone when I call. This isn't a small purchase. I have nearly $3,000 tied up in this situation. When a company is holding that much of a customer's money, disappearing when the customer is trying to get answers is completely unacceptable. I have tried to handle this reasonably and have given them opportunities to resolve the situation. I should not have to repeatedly chase a business just to find out what is happening with my own money. If Moon Auto Parts returns what I am owed and resolves this properly, I will update this review accordingly. Until then, my experience has been a damaged engine, nearly $3,000 tied up, and now silence when I try to get answers. Anyone considering a major purchase from Moon Auto Parts should know about my experience before deciding whether to trust them with their money.
