Product (Tarts) doesn't work straight out of the box. Their example programs do not work without many modifications. The product is unsupported. If they had humans to talk to, without going through their forum, that would be a great start. I would consider another try with their product if I could get an actual person that could help me get these sensors to talk via MQTT. I have seen mention in the forum, but no program examples. These products could be very successful if they would allocate a few resources to making some YouTube videos. I am currently using XBee modules(zigbee protocol) and having great success. Plenty of videos with using XBee. Email me if you want to help with creating a program that I can use in NodeRed via MQTT. I have a big budget that I can spend on your products, with the right support. One more thing would be to make them work with Raspberry Pi3. The whole serial/bluetooth/GPIO issue is a pain.

Technology is okay. I have 30 sensors installed. When a sensor goes bad, it's ludicrous the experience support runs you through to see if it's truly a problem sensor. We have a failure rate of 50% on sensors. They have an old version of the software that is decent. However, at login they force you into the new version which has 1/10 of the features. Every login i panic and then realize I can get back to the classic view.

Product only Lasted 2 years, Website would not allow me to purchase another. No answer to my website inquiry to them about that issue..

Repeated improper billing addresses, repeated improper billing method (credit card rather than NET30), multiple outstanding technical support tickets, and ongoing issues around design/production errors leading to damaged sensors and loss of labor hours for our team... all despite repeatedly bringing these things to Monnit staffs' attention. Not feeling the love. The product has amazing potential and my company is sitting on the cusp of broad implementation of new services across multiple industries with customers actively seeking our help... if only we could get the hardware to work properly!. It is my sincere hope that all these issues at Monnit are just growing pains. They are currently leading, but they won't be for long if this keeps up.

Many times gateways loose signal, power even when outlets are OK. Sensors give falls readings, in disagreements with freezer display. We have to keep 2 sensors per freezer and one of them in glass beads. Billing department does not explain charges, just sends bills/invoices. Equipment very costly and takes for ever to re-certify expired sensors.

Tried to add another sensor, but maxed out my subscription. Instead of upgrading I have to buy a new one and nobody cares that I prepaid the current subscription for a year

When the sensors and gateways work they are great! WHEN is the key term. We have to constantly keep resetting the devices and they are very difficult to get the sensors to connect and communicate with the gateways. There must be a better system out there.
