Momentary InkReviews of momentaryink.com

I do not suggest ordering a custom tattoo. I ordered one to try a tattoo design to see placement before getting real tattoo. In the design noted I asked for it to be the same size as in the image I submitted. It was larger when I received it and they then tell me they can’t tell the image size. So why didn’t they email me to let me know before printing! Also they made slight changes to my design that I did not ask for. I’m now stuck with tattoos I won’t use.

I ordered a tattoo from them a couple weeks ago. When it arrived the lettering was messed up and would not peel off correctly. I am giving a 2 star instead of 1 because once I saw the tattoo insurance the lady I contacted was quick to help me and sent me another one. I received it in the mail a week later and put it on that night. I was super excited and read the instructions multiple times as well as watch a YouTube video. It looked great for the couple hours it stayed on. I woke up the next morning with parts that had already came off and then the rest came off in the shower. I used the real teal correctly, had it fall off instead of peel off, etc. It is supposed to last 2 weeks, not 2 hours.

The temporary tattoos lasted less than 1 day before it started rubbing off. I followed the directions and used the real teal which did help get rid of the shiny tint. The advertisement picture is a bit misleading because I thought I would be getting one big temporary tattoo, however I got the bottom second to the left tattoo of the words that was in a different language. Which that was 5" in LENGTH by <1/2 in width; very small. The description does say Sizes vary between 1.0" - 5.5", but note that they are all very small closer to the 1'' in size. Not worth the price; better to just buy one big tatoo.

While the customer service and artists are great, which is why I'm giving this review a 2-Star. The actual quality of the "tattoo" was that of a child sticker tattoo. Even with the Real Teal solution applied after to help set the product, nothing would make the ink not sticky. My clothes stuck to it. My hands stuck to it. Would not recommend this product for real inquiries of tattoo previews. I will say the

Super disappointed with the semi permanent tattoos. I followed all the directions completely and mine and my husband's barely showed up at all. When I looked at the return policy, it said we could only return within 14 days because the product has a shelf life. If you're supposed to apply within 14 days, the package should say so, and if the product has a shelf life, it should be stamped with an expiration date. So frustrated.

I ordered my packed 28 days ago and I have no received my package. The customer service send me the same message every time I contact them. Seems like a fair company. But their customer support is really bad. They seemed to follow up the order pretty good. But after 1 mail, they started to send me the same apologies time after time. And this was 15 days between every mail.

My main issue is the customer service of the company. Our first order had a good handful of designs. Two of the tattoos were the same large design for the back of my husband's calf (just in case one was damaged or he wanted to reapply it for a second look). Good thing we got two because one came with a rip in it. I emailed customer service and they told me to just try to apply it and if we aren't satisfied, they will do something about it. So my husband used the non-damaged one so he didn't have to finagle it to use it. The damaged one is still hanging out in the delivery envelope with no plans to use it. Our second order was with a new product launch. If you ordered on launch day, they included a small pack of the new type of tattoo for you to try out. I ordered on launch day with the special code, the order arrived, and no sample pack was included. I emailed customer service and they said to take a picture and show them what I received in the order. That was more of a hassle than it was worth for a little trial pack. I don't plan on making anymore orders anytime soon. It's too bad because we did enjoy the product enough to do a reorder. I just don't trust we will get a product without any errors.

They were ok but mine only lasted two days. It wasn't even in a spot that had alot of friction or even touching anything else. It wore off quickly, I put the blue liquid on. The tat was just something I'd get when I was little from the dollar store. Cheap quality. Not buying again.
