Exactly what our team needed.
Nathan provided exactly the right level of guidance for our team. His previous experiences in Jamaica helped him to organize details we could not have. Yet he was also flexible with us based on our own needs, as well as based on last minute changes in the details. He also was a perfect balance of authority with myself and our team leaders. He mostly set us up where we needed to be and let us do the leading. But his voice in our mornings and evenings really challenged our students to make personal applications and to go deeper in their relationships with Jesus. His voice, as someone new to our students, was very effective. My students hear my voice a lot and it is easier for them to tune me out. But Nathan really connected with a lot of them. I would definitely recommend Mission Discovery and would use them in the future on trips like this.
