For me, considering that this is my first missions trip, I would say that it was a very great experience that I would 100% do again in the future. I loved being able to help all of those kids, and seeing the joy in there faces. I think it’s really crazy that just the smallest things can change those kids lives. There was this one kid that I played a lot of different games with him and he had a big cast on one of his arms. This kid was so excited, and even though I was getting tired from playing with him, his big adorable smile just made me want to keep playing with him, because he just brought so much joy to my heart. We also helped out at the school we were staying at and I helped out with filling in these pot holes in the parking lot, and the leaders helping us with it were just so grateful and I could see how much they appreciated us helping them. I learned so many things on this trip, especially during the small sermons we would have at night. I truly felt God speaking to me in mostly all of them that we had every one of those nights we were there. I enjoyed every minute of it all even if it was super hot:) It was just such a joy to work with all of the other people that went with us, and I just had such an amazing time.

This was out first trip with Mission Discovery but won't be out last! Grew closer together as a family, but more importantly we each grew closer to God individually! Developed deeper faith, trust, flexibility and joy while serving. Thank you Nathan and Molly and Mission Discovery!

It was amazing. The way the mission discovery staff ran everything and were willing to help with any problem brought to them. Like the ant situation. The food was amazing and the options were good. I loved how the staff also connected with us and talked. And the schedule for the week was set up perfect the specific times were nice but also giving us a range of free time was great.

Hi Jasey, thanks for taking the time to leave a review and I'm so glad you had an amazing experience! I appreciate that you took the time to mention some of your favorite parts of your stay with us. We're always looking for ways we can better serve our volunteers and provide them opportunities to connect with each other as well as staff members. Our mission is not just about providing service opportunities, but about creating an environment where people feel welcome and loved as they learn more about Jesus. Thank you again for choosing Mission Discovery!

Our family had a great week with Mission Discovery. It was our first trip together as a family and it couldn't have went better. My wife and I rekindled our interest in missions. Our children found meaningfulness in serving God through serving others. The trip also ignited our faith which became lacking over the years. We were also introduced to God sightings, which will become a part of your day after your trip. Thanks MD for a life changing time.

Truly a life changing experience for me. I went into the week not knowing how things would go. But during my Nashville mission trip, I got to participate in things that were outside my comfort zone. This is something I have always struggled with and I felt God was with me during ever step of the trip.
