This trip was truly special and definitely one to remember! I learned and grew a lot from the experiences we had and I loved getting to see some of my closest friends do the same.

I can truly say that Mission Discovery has ministered to me in ways that I have never experienced with any other Christian organization. The weeks spent serving and worshiping with other participants united under the same mission statement, “To Love is to Serve”, have held some of the most impactful moments God has used to shape and mold my identity to Christlikeness. Some would say they go on mission to help others. While alleviating other’s burdens happens when we serve, what I have discovered is that in serving others, the “help” often comes to benefit ourselves. It is a “help” that teaches us what it means to be human—to understand that each human life possesses the hallmark of a Divine Creator and should be given dignity and respect. Seeing the pain and struggle of others changes our hearts. It humbles us, helps us to recognize our own need for help, and awakens us to understanding that in serving others, we see the hand of God. I love Mission Discovery. Too many wonderful memories to share here. An amazing organization dedicated to giving their best so others can see God’s love for us!

My daughter loved this mission trip!! Thank you for giving her a great memory that she will always have!

The projects were great. Our teamwork was the best part of it, as we were all eager to help and get the job done quickly and efficiently. I’d recommend Mission Discovery to others.

I loved it it was an amazing experience people were so nice and super friendly i felt like i had a purpose at the end of the day!

I went into the Orange Beach, Alabama mission trip not knowing what to expect. We had been warned that it was different than last years, but I had only heard the stories from the year before. I was so excited to be able to help people in the community, and boy did we do that. We were able to help so many families at the food shelf and at the work cites. It was amazing to see the joy that we were able to bring into other peoples lives. This mission trip really showed me how much I take for granted in my life. God has blessed me with a roof over my head, food at the dinner table, and so much more. I was able to do Gods work by giving people those things that I don’t even think about in my daily life. I took home so much that it has affected my daily life. I no longer take for granted how blessed I have been to be safe and be able to do things I love. I had so much fun on this years mission trip and I can’t wait for next years!

I really liked the experience I had at the missions trip. It was really eye opening of things that happen around the world. They had good sermons that were easy to understand and had great food there.

It was our first time on a MD trip. We had an awesome time! Everything was so well organized and we loved the community relationships. We will definitely be back.
