Mission Discovery made traveling with students out of the country pretty seamless. Nathan and Josh were very flexible with our crew and patient while we all learned new skills. I loved how God was at the center of each day. From the beginning of our day starting with a quick devotional, to the end of the day. We would end the night in worship, devotion, and small group time. Not only did we meet practical needs for families by building them homes, we were able to pour into them spiritually as well. Mission Discovery also encouraged spiritual growth and disciplines within each person who attended. This was my mine and my daughter’s second trip with Mission Discovery to Tecate and we are already planning our return. Tecate holds a special place in our hearts. The accommodations, material preparations, food, and family connections are very well thought out and make for an enjoyable experience. If you are thinking about going on a trip to love and serve others, you found the right organization to partner with.

This trip was amazing it really helped me with my relationship with god. I loved going out there and meeting the family and helping build the houses with my youth group. It was amazing growing close with everyone and seeing everyone come together to help build the houses.

By far one of the best experiences I have had. The organization was always focused on God and his people. The Mission was not really to build houses , but to build a new relationship with the people there and those we served with. It being a student mission the reward was watching each student grow in this understanding. Can’t wait for the next trip! Love God, love people.

Mission Discovery is a top notch organization! From the start of signing up to the end of the trip, they are there to help every step of the way. Not only that, they have an incredible system for meeting the tangible and spiritual needs of people. Can't say enough good things about this organization and Nathan. If you have been thinking about taking a trip, don't think about it anymore, just go!

We had a fantastic missions trip to Tecate, Mexico! Mission Discovery was very organized and gave each person on our trip the opportunity to minister to the family and participate in building the home no matter the level of previous construction experience. I would recommend this organization to partner with any church looking to do outreach and be the hands and feet of Jesus!

This Mission trip to Tecate was the best mission trip I have ever been on. I would highly recommend Mission Discovery to anyone searching to make a difference.

Our mission trip was wonderful! I cannot express how thankful we are for all planning and hard work that was clearly put into the trip before we arrived. There were a couple of things that were over looked like the amount of paint brushes needed for trim work and initial confusion on where to start each each day. But those are small oversights that got worked out quickly. Thank-you mission discovery for an eye opening trip! It truly was amazing to work with your organization to be God's hands and feet.

The Mission Trip we took to Tecate was incredible, and unforgettable. I know I have a been changed, and will look at the world differently after seeing the humble and heartbreaking conditions of the city. Even the houses we built weren’t much, yet the family was overflowing with gratitude. And that changes your view on what’s important. I was also so thankful to be able to bond with the other kids from my youth group on the trip; to serve Christ together, and build each other up as we built the houses. I’m thankful that I was able to go, and I highly recommend the trip to anyone else who desires to grow closer to God in obedience of serving the people of Tecate.
