Adventure awaits...and God moves in every moment of this serve opportunity.

I enjoyed helping people, and getting to serve with my friends.

The trip was really eye-opening and I felt very connected to God's Word. One of my favorite parts was the God sightings that we would do at the end of the day. It really helped me notice the small things that God did in my life from day to day. I am very thankful that I got to do this trip and I hope that God provides an opportunity for me to do another one.

Our trip with Mission Discovery far exceeded my expectations. We went as a family and the other church groups and Mission Discovery made us feel a part of the big group. Our trip director, Michael, was fantastic. The days were extremely organized and we felt safe and well taken care of. When my son had a spider bite and needed to go to urgent care, Michael knew exactly where to go and what to do. We worked hard building the house and felt good with what we were accomplishing on the workstlite each day, but my favorite part was connecting with the family we built the house for. My kids were surprised how much they enjoyed the work days. We enjoyed the activity and exploring on our day off. My favorite part of each day was the group praise time in the evening. The messages from the speakers were thought provoking and sharing our God sightings each day helped open my mind, eyes, and heart to His presence throughout the day. Our whole family absolutely loved the worship time. The last day on the worksite we dedicated our house. The father of the family had to go to work, so we missed out on an official dedication, but it was still very nice. We absolutely would do another trip with Mission Discovery!

The trip was phenomenal! Truly fantastic. The hotel had amazing service and food. The organization was excellent, and everyone was so kind. I loved building the houses and getting to know the families we were building for. Furthermore, all travel was well organized, quick, and safe. I also loved the worship and God sightings. Overall, I found the experience incredibly eye opening, and I would love to come back.

The trip to Guatemala was a big win! It was exciting to see our student’s capacity and perspective grow, as we watched God do some amazing things! We met a lot of wonderful people from another church, a family that jumped in, the locals, our worship leader, and hotel staff… you wish you could just do life with them! Though trips of any kind can present a few challenges here there, Michael, our trip director had everything and under control. We’re looking forward to our next trip with Mission Discovery.

Coming together with different groups of people serving one purpose to glorify God was incredible! Mission Discovery did an amazing job with finding groups and a location to serve the people well. They provided an outstanding translator and location to stay for the week.

It was truly a God experience. It was an honor and a blessing to serve with Mission Discovery, whose heart for serving the Lord’s people is abundant and beautiful. I look forward to serving with Mission Discovery in the future.
