I loved connecting with the people of Guatemala on a personal level. My favorite was delivering food to families and seeing how they live. Our translator was such an inspiration on how to love people well in dark spaces. I loved praying over people, sining over them, and being with them in their homes.

What an amazing and humbling experience leading this LifePoint Church Mission Team with my wife, Katy Hagman to Bluefield, WV. Thank you Mission Discovery for providing the plan and resources for our team. You enable so many mission teams to shine God's light on areas in need all around the world. Thank you Bluefield First Church of the Nazarene for hosting and connecting our team to your wonderful community. Finally, thank you God for bringing this team together and using us to provide hope, help, and healing to the Bluefield community. I pray the students and leaders on this team never lose the drive and love to further Your mission.

The experience I had with kids at VBS was extremely fulfilling and I really enjoyed teaching them the gospel even if there was a large language barrier. Building houses may have been a lot of work but seeing the payoff in the faces of the families we built for was an experience like no other. Overall this trip helped me a lot in my faith walk and showed me a lot of new skills that will help me a lot later in life.

We're thrilled to hear that your experience at VBS with the kids was fulfilling and that you enjoyed sharing the gospel, despite the language barrier. Building houses can indeed be hard work, but the smiles on the faces of the families you helped must have been incredibly rewarding. It's great to know that this trip had a positive impact on your faith journey and equipped you with valuable skills for the future. Thank you for being part of Mission Discovery Short Term Mission Trips! 🙌🌍

I made friends with the other people serving with me. I was able to help people who really needed it and see how cool God can be. (Plus the boss baby was adorable!) I wish we had more projects scheduled because I had so much fun completing them and getting to help others.

We're thrilled you enjoyed the projects and wanted more – we'll definitely keep that in mind for future trips! And yes, the baby was definitely a bonus cuteness factor. 🍼 Hope to see you on another mission soon! 🙌
