I knew what the goal was and I felt prepared in achieving it. It was evident that mission discovery had strong relationships with the ministry leaders we worked with (Ms. Sophia) and knew how we could support her. The travel and details of the trip were all planned well and communicated effectively and efficiently beforehand!

We felt safe during mission trip knowing Mission Discovery took into account of the safety precautions including food and transportations. The daily morning devotion and evening worship & sharing time were precious, we get to be equipped before we went out, and sharing our experiences after we come back as a team and to hear stories of other team members. So encouraging! We felt at ease knowing MD team have a detailed plan for daily activities and the works to be accomplished. We built 5 homes for the families in need - it would have been better if we had known more details about the background of those families so we can be better prepared, such as ages of the children, the occupation of the parents so we can better connect with them, and prepare age/gender appropriate gifts for them before we go. Overall it is a very positive experience for our family, and we look forward to any future opportunities to serve again as a family.

Wah Gwan! I honestly don't have many words for this experience. I came feeling broken and left with a family and an experience of a lifetime. I am still broken, but my perspective is refreshed and I feel as though my purpose in life has become more clear. Also, I am not ashamed of my faith. I used to be the Christian that cared a little too much about not fitting in but also wanted to please God. My intimacy with God has deepened and I am hungry to learn about the God that gave me so much grace in despite of my baggage. I made lifelong friends and feel so blessed to be alive. To know that I can be a part of a church, organization, and family that wants to change and empower lives for the glory of God, gives me hope for my future and the generation coming up. Thank you RPC, Nathan, and every person that I met during our trip to Jamaica. Missions are life-giving and I am grateful to God that he gave me the opportunity to be a part of our greatest task - to love God and help bring others to Him. Peace and blessings, until next time.

Safe and healthy experience. Everything that was done we always had one goal, and that was to glorify God. No matter the person or the place they come from we made it work with the help of mission discovery. All of our options mattered and all of our questions were answered. Nathan was the best leader and we had some of the best talks. 10/10 would do again.

This was my first trip with Mission Discovery. We went to Puerto Rico. I have for several years helped Mission Discovery in and around Nashville, as a carpenter teaching groups how to build. I loved everything about this trip. Actually, talking with my preacher about my church planning a trip with Mission Discovery.

Vince is a great tour guide. Driving through the city on the way to the school he was very funny and very informative. I really enjoyed working with the locals and getting to know them. Learning how to use the environment around them to complete daily repairs since money isn't always an option. Everyone was very nice.

this experience made me become more patient and to bond with others.

Life changing experience. Would definitely do this again. Loved in meeting new people.
