I didn't give the trip a 5 simply because there is always room for improvement, but I am hard pressed to point out where that could be. The organization of teams and projects were great, even working with an outside group, Hearts with hands. They too were a good organization with many good volunteers. Hailey did a great job keeping up with each team and taking care of all the organizational stuff. She was very caring and concerned for each team. She was enthusiastic for what she did and what Mission Discovery does. The morning and evening programs were good as well. It was a great trip.

Hailey had done a great job of organizing the trip. We felt we were well informed of the events. The facility was exceptional with great accommodations as well as food. Wish there had been more time to spend with the other groups and get to know them better.

The mission trip was a fun experience! It was fun hanging out with friends but the work was very exhausting. I learned how to paint during the mission trip and painted an office and house. I also helped a church by taking out their carpet for them. Overall, the trip was a fun and exciting week! The mission trip helped me grow closer to my friends and make new ones from our church.

I loved the hospitality from all the mission discovery workers and even from the people living in the neighborhoods we worked in.

The combination of planned activities, house building, VBS, and the home visits was a good mix of work. The prayer and reflection sessions were well done and served to pull together our mission experience. Hotel food was better than expected and the staff there very hospitable. I do believe that there were too many participants in this particular mission and this created a situation where many of us at the building site had to find things to do or watch others do work. This was my first mission experience and overall it was a good one.

Mission Trips are always fulfilling for a number of reasons. The Mission Discovery Team made this one easy to work with. Accommodations and meals were great, transportation kept any stress to a minimum, and evening services were good. There was just a little confusion at work sites as we were teamed with a larger group, and no real game plan upon arrival, but we managed to work things out. I would use Mission Discovery again.

Mission Discovery staff were very organized, helpful and willing to find more work for our group.

This was a very comfortable and pleasant trip. The accommodations, people and work were wonderful. I would liked to have had the people getting the houses and their families introduced to us first and had them actively involved in the work. Meaningful for them and for us.
