Overall, it was a wonderful and meaningful experience. I’m so thankful for the heart and work of the organization in creating opportunities to serve “the least of these.” One area that I believe could be strengthened is the translation of the gospel message. As a Spanish speaker, I noticed that our translator often interpreted loosely and did not clearly communicate the name of Jesus or the core of the gospel. This left me unsure whether she fully understood the message herself. When it comes to sharing the good news, clarity and faithfulness to the message are essential. I share this with love and with a desire to see this beautiful ministry continue to grow in impact. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

Chris and Ella were fantastic. As in the past, Chris was well organized, kept to a schedule and the week flowed very well. I am amazed that 40+ people from all over the country can blend so quickly and accomplish what we needed to do. It was a great experience!

This missions trip was GREAT, because of the people that we were with that we could help out and care for. It was a good learning experience and fun as well.

I love serving Jesus! Two of three mission trips complete for summer 2025. Both have been amazing and unique experiences. Serving our neighbors in WV and our not so near neighbors in Puerto Rico will forever impact my life and my faith. Thank you MD for the opportunities you give for us to walk in step with Jesus on mission. To God be the glory!

It was truly life changing. A spiritual adventure that allowed us to be stewards of God. The work we did was meaningful, needed and appreciated. The direction from our leader Hailey was intentional, biblically driven and Loving as well. The Accommodations and Food was out of this world. Literally....we had the best 3 Very young cooks , every meal was superb. I literally didn't want to leave. I will be back for sure. Already planning my next trip.

Serving with Mission Discovery is always a joy! There were challenges, for sure, as we tried to navigate new leadership and meld with other church teams. But overall, God's work was done, I believe!

Our family had a wonderful experience with our Mission Discovery team. It was the right mix of hard and rewarding work. We wanted our kids age 12, 15 and 17 to experience God in our actions and interactions with others. That is exactly what we got. Joel and Gary were wonderful leaders.
